The Annoying Younger Brother

Nerissa pov: Mumei came out of her room with Fauna-senpai and Kronii-senpai, and she stretched, "Ready for round two?" She asked

"Hell yeah!" Kronii shouted

"I am," Fauna quietly said.

Mumei-senpai looked at her wife and sighed, "Not you."

"Yeah, I think we are ready for round two," I said to him.

Mumei-senpai had Sana open a portal up. "You all ready?" She asked

"Yup," Kiara-senpai said.

"Yes," Lui-senpai said.

"Yeah," Subaru-senpai sighed.

"Yes, we are," Reine-senpai finally said.

"Then let's go now!" Mumei said We all rushed into the portal and came out on the other side. "We are back for negotiations." Mumei-senpai said

"Nerissa!" My brother yelled at this idiot. Malphis II thinks he can defeat me for some reason.

"What is it, bro?" I asked

"You need to come home!" He yelled

"Are the others nearby?" I asked

"No, they left me alone to capture you if you came back!" He said

"Come on, Brorissa, does your family take Nerissa as a weakling? She isn't going to lose to the weak attacks you are going to throw at her." Mumei-senpai said

"Wait, who are you to say this!?" Malphis II asked

"I'm her older sister..." Mumei-senpai said

"No, you aren't." Malphis II scoffed. Mumei rolled her eyes and walked past him slowly. "Stop!" Malphis II yelled

"No..." She said that, and the others stepped past him.

"You are my opponent, Malphis II," I said.

"Nerissa, don't do this," Malphis II said.

"I have to. I am not going back home yet. I need to do my own thing. Leave the nest for a bit and live up to our mother and father's legacy. You are our father's successor after all, so I need something." I said.

Malphis II laughed and said, "You can't win."

"You want to bet?" I asked

Malphis II began to take his shirt off, revealing his muscles and abs to me. "Yes," he stated.

I began to laugh. His muscles are just for show. I don't think he has the power to back himself up, but I don't know about that.

"Come at me, Lil Bro!" I yelled

"Fine!" He yelled

He rushed at me and began to throw punches instead of attacking me with demon magic or sound. I don't get it what is the point of not doing that when I'm stronger anyways

"Stop dodging!" Malphis II yelled

"No, why would I stop dodging and have you possibly beat me? I don't think you could even if I let you hit me, but at the same time, if I let you hit me and you do win, I'll be on my way home. This wouldn't be good at all. I don't think I would be able to get Mumei-senpai, Kiara-senpai, Reine-senpai, Subaru-senpai, or Lui-senpai. Save me before I get to the rendezvous point. Your plan is flawed. Unless the other three show up again, I will not lose and be sent home. I refuse to!"

"Why won't you come home, Nerissa? Please tell me about your little brother. Please tell me what is going on with you that makes you want to avoid us." He said

"Why don't I want to go home? That is a good question-it's not that I don't want to go home, but there are things I need to do. I have to go and do stuff with my sisters-not my actual sisters, but my other ones. They are treating me well and fueling my dreams. I want nothing more than to complete my dreams."

"I get it, but in a couple hundred years, when you are ungrounded, you can do whatever you want!" Malphis II said

"You don't understand that is what I don't want to happen. I don't want to go home only to be grounded. I need to be able to think for myself. I'm an adult. Why does it matter what I do as long as I come back safe? I get mom and dad worried about me, but at the same time, I don't want to be micromanaged by anyone. This is my life. I am my own person!"

"I get it... but still, you can't keep running away!" Malphis II told me

"Can't I, though?" I asked

"You can, but you won't get supported!" He said

"Mom and Dad are trying to shut my dreams down. I will not have that happening. I will do my own thing!" I said

Malphis II sighed. "Sorry, sis," he said.

"Why?" I asked

"I have to sell you out," he told me.

"Don't you dare..." I growled

"I can't stand to see my older sister get hurt!" He yelled

"I can't stand to see you get hurt, so go home, tell mom and dad that I never came back here, and then afterwards, stay silent until my dream is over. I want to kill the gods no matter what. I want my revenge-no, not even revenge. I want justice!" I said

"Justice?" he asked.

"Yes," I said.

"You don't get what justice is, do you?" He asked

"I do; they broke my horn, Malphis II. I need to get back at them for hurting me like this. My songs are shallow and less beautiful than before, but don't get me wrong, my voice is still gorgeous!" I said

"That is quite vain," he said.

"Says the man who waltzes into my room and flexes all the time," I said.

Malphis II spat. "Stop it," he said.

"You need to stop it. Come on, hurry up and go so I can join my sisters. I don't want to fight you. I want you to understand me. I know you are my little brother, but still, I want you to get me. That is why I need you to listen to me, wait for me, and trust me to win no matter what!" I shouted

He was silent. I want to know his answer.
