Staring Deep In Her Eyes

Shiori pov: "Nerissa, what beautiful eyes you have," I told her. She was thrown off by my words as I stared deep into her eyes, staring into her soul.

"Uhm-didn't you tell me you had something to tell me?" She asked me

"Well, I have to tell you that something isn't right."

Nerissa looked at me slightly. "what isn't?" She asked me

"Well, you see, I found a way to kill the gods. Do you want me to tell you how?" I asked

"Yeah, I would like it if you did," Nerissa said to me.

"Okay, for starters, we need to figure out more about the boundary, and then we shall see how to find the God core," I said.

"The what?" Nerissa questioned

"The God core, you know..." I said.

"I do not know why you act like I was with you when you found this stuff out. I know zero about anything," Nerissa said.

"Well, when I soaked in all the knowledge, I learned something about eyes; therefore, I'm going to extract your eyes briefly now. Don't worry, I'll give them back in a moment," I said.

Nerissa's jaw pried itself open, and she stared at me in disbelief. "Fuck that!" She yelled

"Why won't you let me pry your eyes out of your eye socket?" I asked

"Oh, I don't know Shiori, maybe because that sounds painful as shit!" I said

"Well, maybe you can just let her borrow your eyes," Fuwawa suggested.

"That isn't the issue!" Nerissa yelled

"Well, then what is the problem?" The fuzzy Pupperoni asked

"Uhhh... maybe yanking my eyes out!" She said

"Well, I learned eyes are important, so I need to get some somehow, and Bijou is a rock, and I can't hurt precious Pupperonis," I said.

"Okay, then yank your eyes out!" Nerissa said

"Well, that would hurt, and yours are prettier," I said.

"Aww, Shior~rin," I cooed.

"So can I have your eyes?" I asked

"Fuck no!" Nerissa shouted

"Maybe the eye thing you learned about doesn't mean you have to pull someone's eyes out," Bijou said.

"Well, I think we should do my idea, and we can't ask Mumei-senpai since she is sleeping with two girls right now. She really has the life-I wonder if she dominates them," I said.

"Don't go on a side tangent like that around the puppies and Bijou," Nerissa said.

"Why are they old enough? I don't know what is really wrong with talking about that stuff," I said.

"Bijou doesn't understand lewd shit!" Nerissa said

"What the hell?" I questioned, and as I got a new thought in my head, my information seemed to have grown.

"What is going on?" Nerissa asked

"My head is hurting. I think I would feel better if I could tear your eyeballs out of your head and figure out how to kill the god's core. We need to find a way to the boundary too, and I think if I tear your eyes out, the portal will open," I said.

"Being an archiver doesn't sound like fun since you are burdened with knowledge," Fuwawa said.

"Honestly, I agree that knowing too much is a burden," I said.

Mococo, Neirssa, and Biboo nodded as they watched me writhe in agony for a bit.

"Nerissa, if you don't want me to pull your eyes out, you can do it yourself," I offered.

"Shior~rin, that isn't the issue; the person that is extracting my eye doesn't matter since no matter who does it, my eye will still be gone!" Nerissa shouted

"Yes, but we can't put it back," I claimed.

"Eye transplants haven't been done before!" Nerissa said

"Not the whole eyeball, but I know it was one of the things the gods granted to me when I learned all the knowledge of the world," I said.

"Tell me how to do it, and maybe I'll consider!" Nerissa mumbled

I began to explain to her exactly how things would work, and Nerissa seemed more opposed to it now than ever since she found out that she has a 98.2% chance to go blind after the procedure.

"Please let me tear one eye out!" I pleaded

"Shior~rin, for the last time, no!" She said

"Why don't we rip the eyes of a random bystander out?" Fuwawa asked

"Yeah, then it wouldn't matter," Mococo said.

"You puppies are geniuses!" I yelled

I ran up to them and began to give them pets; they deserve it after all for being such good pets. "Bau Bau!" They both said they were getting pets.

"Bau Bau indeed!" I cheered

"Sorry, but I can't join you. I'll be too busy trying to grab Todoroki Hajime with my sisters, so I won't have time to help." Nerissa said

"Oh cool," I simply said.

"What do you mean by that?" Nerissa asked

"Oh, I just think it's cool," I said.

"Oh fuck that I'm helping!" Nerissa cried

"Okay," I questioned.

She weirded me out. Why was she being so abrasive? It makes zero sense, to be completely honest. Why is she acting like this?

"It really isn't that deep," I said.

"Oh, hush, you are out, insulting my intelligence and making me seem like I'm not contributing to the team. I can see through you, Shiori Noevella, but trust me, I will not fall for your little games and will join you!" Nerissa said

"It wasn't a game, but sure, I guess I can say I beat you just for the hell of it," I said.

Nerissa nodded, and I continued to try to understand why the hell she was acting like this when I did nothing that would warrant a reaction like this at all.

"What are you thinking, by the way? I've been trying to read your mind, but all your thoughts are just a jumbled-up mess. How do you think?" Nerissa asked

"I just do?" I questioned

I definitely need to check out to see if Nerissa is normal after this.
