Mumei pov: "Irys, you're faster," I said.
"Yeah, go figure!" She said
"You like to take that tone with me?" I asked
"What are you going to do to burn me alive?" Irys asked. I smiled and nodded before pulling my lantern out. "Wait-Mumei!" Irys yelled
It was too late, as I had already blown fire towards her and engulfed the arena in flames. She tried not to touch the hot burning areas as she ran around.
"What are you going to do now?" I asked
She began to spin as fast as she could and made a tornado, blowing away some fire and extinguishing it. She spun towards me, but I yanked my dagger out and held it out, blocking it. Sparks flew as we collided, and then she stopped spinning.
"Help me..." She mumbled
"No..." I said
I kicked her away and sent her into the fire. "Mumei!" Bae screamed
"She is fine. Fire never does anything," I said.
Irys got up and walked out of the fire and shrugged. "Yeah, fire kind of stinks." She said
"Yup, good light source, though!" I said
"Yeah, it is pretty good." I cut her off by slamming my lantern into her skull.
"Owww!" Irys yelled
It hurt her so much, and I smiled at it as she also caught fire; however, that doesn't matter at all; who cares what happens at all? "Mumei, she is really hurt!" Bae said
"We are in a fight, and you are supposed to hurt people in fights, Bae," I said.
"Yeah, so stay out of it!" Irys yelled
She made a bunch of flaming slashes towards me, but I weaved past them and flew at her as fast as I could.
"Too slow..." I said, Irys slashed upwards, stopping my attack. " "Ohoho?I laughed
Irys glared. "You are going to lose." She said
I rolled my eyes and sighed. not going to lose, not to Irys anyway. I want to beat someone respectable, to be completely honest. I want everything to be nice and easy. I want to win as fast as I possibly can.
"What the hell do you think you are going to do if Irys and I tag team you?" Bae asked
"Not lose..." I said
"Do you think it is that easy?" She said
"I know it'll be that easy, Bae. I'm not weak, you know," I told her.
Bae snarled and ran at me, but I dodged her and kicked her away.
I'm way too strong for her at this point and going to surpass Irys. I don't care how, but I will. do it
"Mumei-senpai, something is wrong!" Nerissa yelled
"Nessie, what is it?" I asked
"I don't know, but it seems like something has entered the council room!" Nerissa said
"Okay, how about you check it out with the rest of Advent? I'm busy right now, so see what is going on and deal with it, okay?" I asked
"Got it, Mumei-senpai!" Nerissa said
I thought about it, but maybe I should make Zeta go with her or Kiara.
I'll trust Nessie Ravencroft for now, but then after this battle royal is finished, I'm going to have to see what is actually going on because I do sense something familiar, someone I should say.
Friend, it returned somehow, and I know it'll have something planned. Maybe it'll try to take Nessie's body, but as long as Fuwawa, Mococo, Shiori, and Bijou are with Nerissa, they should be fine, but just in case
"Zeta, go watch them!" I said
"Mumei-senpai, I want to watch you!" Zeta said
"Ah, sure, watch me then!" I said
"To be honest, I can't help watching them." Selen yawned
"Good, do it!" I demanded
"Damn, fine, I'm going," she said.
Selen needs to make sure my sister will be alright while Zeta and Kaela watch me with Kiara.
"Hold up!" Selen sighed loudly as she exited.
They need to do something about friends, but I also don't like the sound of it returning. Why is it back? It should be stuck in hell for eternity, but what is going to happen? It makes no sense at all. I don't get it. Why come back?
It must have something it wants, like my body, maybe, but then again, I'm not becoming a vessel of anything else; I'm my own person right now.
I need to burn a friend alive, but in a minute I'm going to continue this battle and I'm going to win. I'm going to help my sister and my friends. I'm going to make her know how much I care about her in the end.
"Mumei, are you okay?" Irys asked
"Yeah, I am," I said.
"Focus," Irys said.
I am aware I have to focus because the whole point of everything in this fight is that we see who the strongest in promise is, and I will be able to prove who's the strongest.
"Let's hurry up and end this," I said.
"Nope," Bae said.
I know they are trying to do things, but they are making it difficult. I don't know if Nerissa can hold the line for that long. Nessie may need help sooner or later. I trust Selen, but at the same time, who knows what is going to come up from this? I don't get it at all. I don't understand what is going on with this.
"You seem a little worried," Bae stated.
That isn't true at all; it makes zero sense why she would think that I'm not a person who worries; she needs to understand what is going to happen if things go south.
"Bae, if I beat you, then Irys has to let me go, right?" I asked
"Yup!" Bae said
"Yeah, no Fauna!" I yelled
Fauna came over and hit Bae away, leaving only Irys and me.
"How cheap..." she said.
"Oh, get over it," I said.
Irys smiled. "I'm not mad," she said.
At least she has some pride.
