Calling Out To Her

Bar pov: "Miori!" I called out as I ran out of the room. I was left in about two minutes. I thought about it, and Irys is right. I was the jerk for not hearing her out.

"Miori, who is Miori?" Nerissa asked as she walked up to me.

"Nerissa, hey, I know we haven't talked much, but have you seen a girl running through here?" I asked

"Yeah, a lot of them," Nerissa replied.

"Ugh-you know what I mean-a girl you don't recognize has anyone like that come through here?" I asked

"It's a possibility," she stated.

"Nessie, can you go get something for me really quick?" Mumei asked her raven sister

"Sure, Mumei-senpai, what is it?" Nerissa asked

"One of my power runs, you'll find it because I'll help you read them," Mumei said.

"Wait how?" Nerissa asked

Mumei walked up and tapped Nerissa's forehead. "Now you have all my knowledge," Mumei explained.

"Got it, I'll be right back, Mumei-senpai!" Nerissa yelled as she ran off.

As soon as she was out of sight, Mumei punched me in the stomach. "Gah-why?" I asked

"Bae, you really don't understand how deep you are into this or the severity of this situation," Mumei said.

"How do you know what Miori said?" I asked

"Oh, I knew she was following us; she actually has been ever since Zeta and I faked-well, you know," Mumei said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah, she seemed really concerned about you too," Mumei stated.

"I know she is concerned about me, but I can't stand it. She is overbearing. You don't get it. You don't know Miori like I do. She just tries to get what she wants." I said

Mumei sighed slightly. "Let me show you an ability." She told me she made a projection on the wall, and I saw Miori cradled up in a ball.

"Bae-Bae haaaates me!" She cried; it seemed like she was in so much pain.

"Where is she?" I asked

"You don't need to know Bae," Mumei said.

"I do!" I yelled

Mumei snapped her fingers, and the picture changed.

"Then don't disregard what I say. I know I abandoned you a long time ago and didn't help you when you needed me, but now I want to help you!" Miori yelled

"Well, maybe I don't want your help, bitch!" I screamed

"You don't want her help, Bae, so stop fucking around and quit acting like you want her help. Knock it off. You can't prove that you even care about her because you've been nothing but a jerk to her. You refuse to hear her out, and for what reason because she abandoned you once? She apologized for it, and you keep trying to throw her away. Mumei said

"I-Mumei, you always call me out. Why can't you side with me?" I asked

"Because you are so hung up on the wrong things, you don't see the bigger picture; you aren't fit to lead." Mumei said

"Mumei, take it back!" I screamed

Mumei smirked and squeezed her fist. She slammed her hand into my face and sent me flying. "You are weak!" She yelled

"Ugh—Mumei—Gah—What???" I wheezed

"If you want to know where Miori is, hit me once, punch me once, or tell me something that makes me want to let you know where she is." Mumei said

"I want to know where Miori is because that's what I want!" I yelled

"Pfft... wrong," she spat before kicking me. "Try again," she then said.

"I want—I want Miori to know why I'm the best. I want to prove to her that she can trust me!" I yelled

"Really?" Mumei asked.

"Y-Yes really!" I shouted

She looked for the hesitation in me, and when she saw it, she sprung forward and kicked me, making my face slam into the ground.

"Bae, you are an awful liar," she told me.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked

"Nothing... Hakos Baelz," she said.

She was purposely trying to be a smartass. "Don't call me that!" I yelled

"Oh, but you're a coward..." Mumei explained it to me.

"Fine, you want to hear the real reason I want to find Miorwi Celesta? Miori Celery?"  I asked

"What is the reason, Hakos Baelz?" She asked me as she charged up.

"It's because I'm scared, okay? I care about her, and I'm scared that if I show her that I love and care for her, everything will fall apart. I think that I can't sit here and look at her without my heart wanting to call out to her. I was to be with her, and I really love her, but Irys is my fiancé, but at the same time, I don't want Miori to feel sad." I yelled

"What did you say?" Mumei asked

"I want to show Miori that I love and care about her, damn it!" I screamed

Mumei smirked, and as Nerissa returned, she looked at her. "Here you go," she said as she handed her the runes.

"What are those for?" I asked

"Oh, Miori ran past me and requested that she be taken out of the world since you hate her." Mumei said

"Wait, you have an erasing cube..." I said

"Yup," Mumei said.

"You are going to use it on her?" I asked

"I currently am, but you can stop it; you only have about a minute," Mumei said.

"Where is she?" I yelled

"Down the hall, up the stairs to the left, down the elevator, and then you have to go up the stairs, and then you have to go right, and then down that hallway, right?" Mumei said.

"Wait, so I have to go down that hallway!" I asked angrily, since she was wasting my time.

"Yup," Mumei said.

I ran past her faster than I ever had before. "Miori... Miori... Miori... Miori!" I yelled Tears began to stream down my face as I ran, "Miori!" I screamed
