"I swear, I feel like strangling the life out of some of these customers!" Minji, with her clenched teeth, started to choke the imaginary person in front of her. "They're so rude! It's like they leave their manners and home training back at home."
You started laughing after her. "Well, we can't help who we encounter in life, right, Sumin?" you turned to her way.
"Mm," she hummed.
"And there's this one lady in particular that is especially snooty and rude. She's coming back to the store again, today!" Minji held out the length of her dramatic sigh. "I swear, the only thing that's keeping me from losing my sanity nowadays is my paycheck."
"Mm," Sumin hummed again.
At this point, Minji and you locked eyes with one another before turning towards Sumin. "Sumin, is something wrong?" Minji asked. "That's like your 25th hum for the day."
"Yeah, it sounds like you've gone and caught Taehyung's hums."
She shrugged," maybe."
You and Minji eyed each other once more. "If there's anything that's bothering you, you know that you can talk to us, right? That's what friends are for."
"Who said I had a problem?" Sumin looked between the both of you.
"Well, you're not acting like yourself right now," Minji answered.
Sumin lightly scoffed to herself, "I'm fine, really, so, you don't need to worry." She then turned away and sped down the hallway, leaving the both of you behind, yet dumbfounded by her sudden odd behavior.
"I'm definitely not the only one who was getting weird vibes from her, was I?" Minji asked.
"Nope, you're definitely not alone on that." As you looked down towards your phone, your eyes nearly jump out their sockets. "Minji, we gotta pick up the pace!" You grabbed her wrist and started running through the halls.
Later on, after your classes were finished, it was decided that you and Minji would go to the library to study for yet another pain-in-the-ass exam that was coming up. The exam that was being studied for was not calculus this time, but instead for an English course named: Honors Colloquium.
