It was the very next day, and being that you only had 1 class for the day, you had decided to sit in the library for a while; just to pick up a book or 2 to read. Of course, as you were passing through the hallway, there were a few students that couldn't seem to stop looking, nor whisper mean things about you.
As you got closer to the library, you noticed a pair of familiar girls standing against the wall, talking to each other. It was when they spotted you, that their mouths came to a close and their eyes began to follow your every move.
"Hey, you!" One of them with short hair stopped you in your tracks as they called out to you. "Come here."
'Aren't those the girls that were with Sumin a couple of times?' You pondered. 'What could they possibly want with me?' You quickly brushed the thought aside and turned to walk over to them.
"Uh, hi. You guys are Suhwa and Sujin, right?" That was when you had remembered that these were also the girls that Minji had told you to be careful of.
"I'm Suhwa," the long hair girl pointed to herself, "and that's Sujin." Her hand motioned to the short haired girl.
"It's nice to meet you. My name is Lee--"
"No need to introduce," Suhwa raised her hand to cut you off. "We already know who you are."
"Oh, I guess you do..." How could you forget for even the slightest second, that you were the current hot topic of the entire school?
"So, you're the girl that everybody's been talking about, huh?" Suhwa asked.
"Yeah..." you trailed off, with your eyes falling towards the ground. "It really sucks knowing that you're the target of false accusations and a harsh rumor."
Sujin crossed her arms as a smirk came to her lips. "Well, you were hanging out with the most popular guys on campus. People around here are bound to think that stuff like that is going on."
"How did you know that I've been hanging around them a lot?"
"Uh, we know people who've hung around them, too."
"Oh, that's possible," you slightly nodded. "I haven't been the only girl around them since I've started hanging out with them."
"So," a smirk came to Suhwa's lips, "are you going to stop hanging around them for good?"
"Oh no," you shook your head. "I'm only distancing myself for a while until things die down. Besides, Jungkook is my best friend. I definitely wouldn't want something like this to stop us from hanging out ever again."
The smirks on both girls' faces faded away. "Best friend? Just who the fu--" Suhwa caught her self and gathered what calmness she had left. "You're not going to stay away? Why not?" The tone of Suhwa's voice became louder. "Don't you get that people are just going to keep talking about you if you do?"
