"FUCK YOU!"

"Louis, who the fuck are you talking to?"

"The walkers, duh."

I couldn't help but roll my eyes- or eye. My blonde hair flowing in the breeze as the hot head dread head smashed in a walker's head with "Chairles."

"Should I even ask why you are randomly killing walkers past curfew, miles away from home?"

"I needed to clear my head," Louis sighed as he knifed a walker, watching the tainted blood drip from his knife.

"What's up with you lately? You always disappear in the middle of the night to do this. I'm worried about you Lou," sincerness was always my advantage in these emotional speeches.

"I couldn't save you from the explosion, I couldn't save Tenn, I couldn't save Clem from being bit...." The more he talked, the deeper I felt his pain.
"What if another one of our friends gets bitten? What if they don't survive this time?" He struck a walker so hard in its skull, "Chairles" shattered in half.
"I can't lose anyone else," he spoke as he looked at his shattered weapon on the ground. The forest was clear and empty of the undead. Kneeling besides Lou, I rested my hand on his shoulder.

"I love you."

"I love you too." I couldn't help but notice the dreadhead's million dollar smile lighting up the dark, empty woods. He was my best friend, regardless of how many times I've told him "fuck you, fuck off", etc. It's not complicated, he was the only one that knew me before Clementine arrived. And as much as I wanted her to be mine, I'm happy she's with Louis. He's a good guy despite his terrible jokes. I'm just relieved he's doing better.

"Hey, look." I walked over and picked up a turtle from a hollower log. Louis gently held the turtle in his hands as a warming smile displayed on his face. "Didn't you mention you had a pet turtle?" The boy nodded.

"I'll call you, Reggie." I rolled my eyes.

"Reggie the turtle?"

"What? He looks like a Reggie."

"Ooooookay. Lets head back. I wanna play cards."
