ELI'S POV
*Two Months Later*
"They're here!" My dad exclaimed. "Everyone hide!" We all found a place and quickly hid as Eddie and Liz walked into my parents' house. Eddie just landed a job as an officer for the LAPD so we were throwing him a surprise party.
The lights flicked on and we all jumped out.
"SURPRISE!" We all screamed as the Cops theme song started blasting. Eddie burst out laughing, almost falling to the ground he was laughing so hard.
"Congrats on getting the job son." My dad smiled, handing him a box. Eddie looked into the box and almost died. He was struggling to get air into his lungs he was laughing so hard. It was a box of a dozen donuts, each one with a candle in it.
"You guys are all assholes and I love you all." Eddie laughed.
"So when do you start work?" My mom asked.
"Monday."
"Stay safe." My grandpa said.
"I'll try my best. But, training was pretty rough so I think I'm up for pretty much anything."
