DANIELLE'S POV

The next day, Casey called me to meet at the park after school. I found him on the bench and sat down next to him.

"You wanted to see me?" I asked and he sighed.

"I-I think we need to take a break."

"What!"

"Not break up. Just, I think your dad needs a little bit of time to get used to the idea of us."

"B-But Casey."

"I'm sorry Danielle, but what your dad did yesterday obviously showed he didn't like me. I love you." He said and kissed me. He stood up and walked away. I ran home and burst into my house.

"Hey Danielle, ho-"

"I FUCKING HATE DAD!" I screamed, cutting off my mom.

"What did I do this time?" He groaned.

"CASEY WANTS TO TAKE A BREAK TO GIVE YOU TIME TO THINK ABOUT US! ALL BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU DID LAST NIGHT! I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!" I screamed, stomping upstairs, slamming my door.

BRANDON'S POV

"Oh God, I really screwed up this time." I groaned, flopping down onto the couch.

"Yeah, you did."

"There's only one way to make this right." I said, standing up, grabbing my keys and walking out the door.
