"Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
"But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
"that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
Matthew 6:2-4

God knows what you are doing and what you are gonna do: He knows all. We, as a society, have a problem with accolades. We are put here by God to do his work. We shouldn't be patted on the back for doing what is just and right, but rather ask ourselves: what more does He want me to do?  Tell God that you love Him.

accolade - a reward or privilege granted as a special honor or as an acknowledgement of merit.

The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.

     Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.  Please read your Bible.
