For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,
that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
Romans 8:3-5
I will try to analyze this passage - it is pretty difficult. We are all of the flesh, so I don't know what it feels like otherwise. I have felt the Holy Spirit, but was still in the flesh. To me, it all boils down to one word - Discipline.
We know how God wants us to behave. I think the world can lead, if we allow it, to excess. I believe a good example of walking in the Spirit would be caring for others with a kind attitude and not judging the flesh. I know if I trust in God things will always be ok. I need to do a better job of living for the day and not looking too far ahead. Tell God you love Him.
Love God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Read your Bible.
