This is the burden (oracle, prophecy) which came in the year that King Ahaz died.
"Do not rejoice, all you of Philistia,
Because the rod that struck you is
broken;
For out of the serpent's roots
will come forth a viper,
And it's offspring will be
a fiery flying serpent.
The firstborn of the poor will feed,
And the needy will lie down in safety;
I will kill your roots with famine,
And it will slay your remnant.
Wail, O gate! Cry, O city!
All you of Philistia are dissolved;
For smoke will come from the north,
And no one will be alone in his
appointed times."
What will they answer the
messengers of the nation?
That the LORD has founded Zion,
And the poor of His people shall take
refuge in it.
Isaiah 14:28-32
Help, I have no clue. I found out that Philistia is a small soil-rich country. A fiery flying serpent, to me, is a dragon. The firstborn and the needy will be taken care of before they are attacked - are they ok, don't know. The dragon will slay the remains. Or this could be symbolism, I will stay with the dragon.
The LORD has said that Zion will be returned to the Jews. I need to look at the boundaries, but it is parts of several countries in the Middle East. I guess none of us can escape our appointed times. Tell God that you love Him.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
