A righteous man hates lying,
But a wicked man is loathsome
and comes to shame.
Righteousness guards him whose
way is blameless,
But wickedness overthrows the
sinner.
There is one who makes himself rich,
yet has nothing;
And one who makes himself poor,
yet has great riches.
Proverbs 13:5-7
I don't know how righteous I am, but I hate lying. Lying seems to be some what accepted in society. I'll let you draw your own conclusions about where society has progressed or digressed.
God is not gonna judge us on the money we made, but rather how we used the money. Riches are not always monetary: a laugh, a child's smile, a simple "thank you," and a daily-needed question: How are you? One needs people to fulfill these needs.
Rich people are people, too. We need God first, as well as other people but second, God is always first. People can leave and then where are we; God will always be there. Tell God that you love Him.
Note - Everything comes from the Father - everything!
