Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,
who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Jesus did so much for us, think about it - He was beaten, betrayed, denied, and crucified. The world was so awful to Him, but He knew that He always had His Father, God.
I can't help to think what Jesus went through mentally, let alone physically. All for us, a love that is inconceivable and definitely unparalleled. Remember all this as you rejoice in His resurrection. Tell God that you love Him.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
