Daniel answered and said:
"Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
For wisdom and might are His.
And He changes the times and the
seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have
understanding.
He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him.
"I thank You and praise You,
O God of my fathers;
You have given me wisdom and might,
And have now made known to me what
we asked of You,
For You have made known to us
the king's demand."
God, in a night vision, revealed the secret of King Nebuchadnezzar's dream to Daniel, which saved many lives. God blessed Daniel with wisdom, but he still needed God's help. God needs to be praised and thanked daily. It is so easy for me to dwell on the negative; I need to be thankful to God for all the positive.
The Lord told Ezekiel to say to the prince of Tyre -
Behold, you are wiser than Daniel!
Ezekiel 28:3
Ok, this was to the prince of Tyre and later Ezekiel speaks to the king of Tyre. When he speaks to the king it sounds as if he were speaking to Satan. Ezekiel, when speaking to the prince, sounds, to me, like he is speaking to an extremely arrogant, selfish man. There may be a reason that I am reposting these. Tell God you love Him.
