But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
1 Samuel 16:7
I really thinks the LORD lets us see what He wants us to see. I do feel some people can see past the outside appearance of person. But do we take the time? Most times not.
God knows all about us, we can't deny that fact. All He wants us to do is love Him, learn about Him (read His Word), love others, and do our best to walk in the ways he set for us. Simply complicated - do your best; I will try to do my best also. I can't lie; God is my crutch - I ask for his love and understanding, hopefully daily.
If you are wondering, the above verse is about God looking, through Samuel's eyes, at Jesse's sons. God chose David, the eighth and Jessie's youngest son, to be anointed king. Tell God that you love Him.
