For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Colossians 1:9,10
Paul is addressing the Colossians in a letter. Wisdom and spiritual understanding are the words that keep jumping out at me - Wait!!!Pleasing Him and knowledge of God, leapt out at me almost saying, "Don't forget about me!"
Both verses are really powerful. Notice the semi-colon, it does go on. I need to address Philippians 4:13, my mom's favorite verse, which is on the opposite page:
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
If you don't believe this verse, just try to do things on your own. Always remember to focus on everlasting life, many people do well in the world but forsake God. He could care less about the things of this world. I will let Him decide. Tell God that you love Him.
