The earth mourns and fades away,
The world languishes and fades away;
The haughty people of the earth languish.
The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants,
Because they have transgressed the laws,
Changed the ordinance,
Broken the everlasting covenant.
Therefore the curse has devoured the earth,
And those who dwell in it are desolate.
Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned,
And few men are left.
Isaiah 24:4-6
Just turned to Isaiah today. I have been searching my soul about pride and my summation - it all goes to God. We shouldn't be proud of ourselves because God has blessed us. I read the Bible; should I be proud? No, I am ashamed. I should have read it thousands of times by now. I am gonna thank God and do my best to please Him. Tell God that you love Him.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Please read your Bible.
