But He gives more grace. Therefore
He says:
"God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble."
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
James 4:6,7
I had to add one - you know me:
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
James 4:10
I know that I need to humble myself; this is also what I have been doing a poor job of communicating to you. I am trying to totally humble myself; it is hard, but worth the effort. I relate this to being patient and biting my tongue.
I opened to the same page that I did yesterday and had to do some reading because all these verses weren't highlighted. I'm glad I did now. James 4:10 lifts me up just reading it. God doesn't want us to be violent, angry, aggressive, but rather humble and loving. I am still learning as He is still teaching. Tell God that you love Him.
The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon
you,
And give you peace.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Please read your Bible.
