The Lord's Blessing

"But if you do not obey Me, and do not
observe all these commandments,
and if you despise My statutes, or if your
soul abhors My judgments, so that
you do not perform all My
commandments, but break My
Covenant,
I also will do this to you:
I will even appoint terror over you,
wasting disease and fever which shall
consume the eyes and cause sorrow
of the heart.
And you shall sow your seed in vain, for
your enemies shall eat it.
I will set My face against you, and you
shall be defeated by your enemies.
Those who hate you shall reign over you,
and you shall flee when no one
pursues you."
Leviticus 26:14-17

Sounds like we all better behave 😇 I am interested in the possessive pronouns in front of the covenant: My and His. Disease sounds scary to me. I don't think I am fully aware of God's power.
God can be a loving God, or we can provoke Him to wrath. The decision is up to us, how are we going to behave. I like to be reminded of His awesome power.

Here is a blessing that I love:

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
"Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying,
'This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:
"The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon
you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance
upon you,
And give you peace."
                       Numbers 6:24-26

I think everybody is searching for peace; I know that I am. You know, the inner-peace where everything seems light, carefree and smiles come easily and quickly. I have had it at times - the quest continues.

"Walk in Faith," and please your Bible. Tell God you love Him.
