Don't Pt. 2

Your Pov:

I sat on the bus, watching the plants and trees passing by. I stayed silent, too lost in my own thoughts to have a conversation. Soon, we were in the mountains. There were barely any trees now and the ground was mostly dirt. After five minutes or so, the bus stopped. We were at the village. I grabbed my bags and hurried off. I arrived at the manor and knocked on the door. I heard footsteps and the door opened. Aunt Morgan stood there. I hoped a maid would answer.

(I know Morgan is in prison during this case, but for the sake of the story, she isn't.)

I forced a smile, "Hello Aunt Morgan." She smiled back, "Welcome back,
(Y/n). Come in." We walked inside and a maid took my bags to my old room. Morgan led me to the sitting room. We sat down and she sipped her tea, "What brings you to the village,
(Y/n)?" I silently handed her the letter.

She read it silently, her hands gripping the letter tightly for a while. She handed it back to me, "Welcome back, Master of Kurain." I nodded, "Thank you. Can you help me get ready?" She looked at me, "For what?" I sighed, "The match maker." She gasped, "Yes. Of course I will. Since your mother..." I frowned. Mom...

She led me to my mother's old room. She dug through a trunk before pulling out a beautiful kimono.

I smiled, "It's beautiful..." Morgan nodded, "It was your mother's." She helped me put it on and tied it for me. She sat me down at the vanity and got out some make up. She started to powder my face, "You'll bring honor to us all."  She highlighted my eyes and finished off the look by brushing on the red lip paint. When she finished, I looked in the mirror.

I didn't have a lot of time to look as I was immediately turned to the side. I felt a brush in my hair. She brushed my hair and pulled it into a flawless bun. After that, she opened my mother's jewellery box and pulled out one of the hair pins.
