My Blood Sucker (Vampire! Edgeworth x Reader)

A/N: Ok, this will kind of be like Twilight. Edgeworth is a vampire, but he only drinks animal blood. However, his eyes don't change colors depending on what type of blood he drinks. This means that he could drink human blood, but his eyes would remain their steel grey color.

Your Pov:

I sat in the office, watching detectives run back and forth, getting ready for the upcoming case. Apparently, a man was accused of blackmailing another man by letting his wife sleep with the other man and then telling him to pay up or he would tell the other man's wife. The next day, the man being blackmailed was found dead. I worked as a secretary here, but I knew about the case because I was best friends with one of the detectives. His name was Dick Gumshoe. Anyways, the chief prosecutor was going to be on the case. His name was Miles Edgeworth.

He was a mysterious one for sure. He would take long trips to Germany when the cloudy weather lightened up. He never said why. I asked Gumshoe about it, but he didn't know why either. I was knocked out of my thoughts by a report being dropped on my desk. A sticky note on top of it said, 'Send to the Chief Prosecutor." I carefully flipped through the report. It described a recent murder. A man had been killed at his workplace. No murder weapon was found, but investigators have came to the conclusion that his death had something to do with two puncture marks on the side of his neck.

I closed the report and began my walk to Edgeworth's office. It wasn't too far. 5 minutes at the most. I stood in front of the door and knocked. His voice rang out, "Come in." I opened the door and shut it quietly behind me, "A new report, sir." He sighed, "Another? Bring it here." I approached the desk and handed it to him. As I did, I noticed his left fist clenching. He looked through the report silently. His face never changed. Then, he spoke, "Tell the detectives in charge of this case to drop the investigation. It was clearly an animal that killed this man." He wrote something on a piece of paper and handed it to me. His hand touched mine. It was like ice.

"Give this to the main detective. If they have any objections, tell them to come to me." I nodded, "Yes, sir." I left the office and made my way to the precinct. I managed to find Gumshoe after 30 minutes of searching. I spoke, "Gumshoe, this is for you. From Mr. Edgeworth." He took the paper, "Thanks pal." He read through the paper and turned to me, "He wants to drop the investigation?" I nodded, "Apparently so. Said it was some kind of animal." He shook his head, "There's no way it was an animal! We would've found tracks." I rolled my eyes, "Then what was it? A vampire?!"

Gumshoe scratched the back of his head, "Alright, alright. I'll go inform the others." I nodded and headed back to the prosecutor's office. I finished filing paperwork for the other prosecutors and replying to more emails before clocking out for the day. I walked outside to the parking lot. I noticed Mr. Edgeworth along with Ema Skye, Phoenix Wright, and Mr. Wright's assistant. They were all talking about something. As I approached my car, I heard tires skidding on asphalt. I looked up to see a car skidding in my direction.

I froze on the spot. The car came closer and closer. Then, Edgeworth was suddenly in front of me. He pushed me back and stopped the car with his bare hands. I was breathing heavily from the shock as I stared at Edgeworth. He looked at me, scanning over me for any injuries. Ema, Phoenix, and his assistant looked shocked as well. Without a word, he turned and walked back to the other three. The person driving the car apologized to me and I headed home. I was still shaken up. When I arrived home, I decided to do some research.

I put the terms 'strength, speed, cold, and blood' into the search bar. Almost immediately, I got over a million results. The very first result read 'Vampires: The Mythical And The Mysterious' I tilted my head. What would vampires have to do with those terms? I mean, vampires aren't real. I clicked on the link. I read through the web page. It described everything I had experienced that day. The cold skin, the strength, the speed, everything! I gulped. All of the signs pointed to Mr. Edgeworth being a vampire. I then decided to confront him about it tomorrow.

The Next Day...

I stood outside the office, waiting. I was nervous. If he was a vampire, would he hurt me? Was confronting him about it a bad idea? I had no time to think about it as I heard a car door slam. I looked up. Mr. Edgeworth had gotten out of his car. He looked at me. I gestured him towards me and walked into the wooded area behind the office. As I walked, I heard the crunching of leaves behind me, indicating he was following. I stopped in a small clearing and turned. He stood 4 feet in front of me.

He crossed his arms, "What is this about?" I hesitated before speaking, "I-I know what you are!" He tilted his head, a smirk appearing on his face. Suddenly, he was gone. I heard him call out, "Tell me, what am I?" I looked around, spotting him leaning against a tree. I took a deep breath, "You...you wouldn't hurt me or anyone else." He laughed dryly, "Are you sure about that? I could kill you in the blink of an eye." He moved to another tree. I spoke, "But you won't. I know you're-" I paused, "No. You'd never hurt anyone." He scoffed, "I know you're afraid. You know what I am. Say it!" I swallowed the lump in my throat, "V-Vampire. You're a vampire."

He nodded, "You've done your research rather well. However, you should be afraid." He walked around me, "A vampire is a being designed to be perfect in every way. Why?" His gaze wondered to my neck, "To entice and trap it's prey." I shook my head,"Then why? You had every chance to hurt me when I brought you out here. Why not kill your prey when it's right in your sights?" He stopped in front of me, "That's a bit more difficult, my dear. You are my bloodsinger. My mate." I tilted my head, "Bloodsinger?" He looked at me, "It means that your blood in particular appeals to me in a more extreme sense than that of another."

He continued, "It also means that I have to protect you at all costs. Since you are my bloodsinger, you are also my mate. That also adds on to why I protected you from that car." I leaned my back against a nearby tree. I went to speak when I cut my finger on the bark. His eyes darkened, but he made no moves towards me. I grabbed a band aid from my purse and quickly put it over my cut. Slowly, his eyes went back to their normal grey. Suddenly, he had me pinned to the tree. He caught my lips with his. I moved my hands up to his hair, deepening the kiss. He pulled away and started kissing my neck.

I let out a breathy moan when his fangs lightly brushed against my skin. He left a few marks here and there, but he didn't bite me like I thought he would. He pulled away from me, "You're mine, my dear." I nodded, "I'm yours." Then, we headed back to the office. I did an hours worth of work before going to see him. I knocked on the door. He called out, "Come in." I opened the door and stepped inside. He looked up at me, "Oh, you're here." Suddenly, he held his head and winced. I approached him, "What's wrong?" He let go of his head and spoke, "I can read people's minds. Even when I don't want to."

I tilted my head, "So you can hear people's thoughts?" He nodded, "Yes. And I'm about to cut a few salaries soon." I frowned, "Why?" He growled, "The men here like to think about you a little too much. You're mine." I smiled at his jealousy and nodded, "Yes, I'm yours."

My boyfriend is a vampire, but it doesn't scare me. He takes care of me and makes sure that I'm always content. I also found out that Phoenix, Ema, and Phoenix's assistant were also vampires. They want him to turn me, but he wants to wait until we get married. But married or not, I want to be with him forever.
