So at the doctor appointment with everyone involved Fred, Archie, Mary and Jughead. They found out that the tendon and hip weren't straight and they were definitely determined to fix her spinal cords so she could have movement.

The day of surgery Jessica was praying really hard in the stretcher she was scared but she knew that she would be ok and that her parents were watching over her. The door knock and Jess said.

"Come in."

Fred, Mary, jughead and Archie came in.

"We wanted to comfort you before you go into surgery."

Jughead admit as he kisses her forehead.

"Thank you, Babe."

Archie said.

"I brought something for your room when you recover."

He showed her the beautiful frame with a photo of her parents and she when she was 5 years old.

"Archie! Where did you find this?"

Archie reply.

"In a box full of stuff."

Jess eyes watered.

"My favorite photo was taken at a rodeo event. I would love to recreate this photo with all of us sometime."

So the nurse were ready to take her in for surgery after the doctor explained everything.

Fred watch Jessica being wheeled to the elevator and he said.

"Jessica, I love you."

The nurse turned the stretcher and Jess smile so brightly as she faced the elevator doors.

"Love you too, Daddy."

All Fred could do was pray and try not to cry in the waiting room.

Starting the surgery it was ok but then halfway through Jessica's heart stopped that the staff had worked hard to revive her. In the waiting room the minute Jessica has the heart attack, Archie sense something was wrong like seriously wrong but couldn't figure out what.

"Do you think sissy is ok?" Archie asked Mary and Fred.

Jughead said.

"I sense the feeling as well but just keep the faith."

After long hours the doctors had come out and explained the surgery went well and that her heart has stopped in the middle for a good 15 minutes but they revived her. Archie was anxious to see her.

"Can we go?"

Jughead could see Archie was ready to cry and had to hug him.

So in the room they waited for Jess to come back. After 15 minutes, the nurse brought her in as she was in the stretcher. Before the staff transfer her to the bed, Archie stroke her hair and gently kissed her forehead.

The staff transfer her onto her bed and got her in an comfortable position and left as the doctor showed Fred and Mary her back then her cast.

Jughead kisses her cheek and fell to his knees just thanking Jesus and broke into tears seeing what would his life would be if the doctors hasn't saved Jessica.

The anesthesia started to wear off as Jessica sleepily heard a song that she remembered her father and Fred always sang from Montgomery Gentry.

Wake up in the morning
Get to living my life
Making sure that I'm all that I can be
Went to church on Sunday
There was a moment that came
I swear it was like the Lord spoke right to me
So now I'm slowing it down and I'm looking around
And I'm lovin' this town and I'm doing alright
Ain't worried 'bout nothing except the man I wanna be
I'm thinking it's time to be livin' the rhyme
When I'm singing a song about nothing but right
And it'd sure be nice if you would roll with me
Saw a kid last winter only twenty years old
Being laid to rest while his mom stood by his side
Sure was hard to watch those tears roll down her face
Made me think how we all just have our time
So now I'm slowing it down and I'm looking around
And I'm lovin' this town and I'm doing alright
Ain't worried 'bout nothing except the man I wanna be
I'm thinking it's time to be livin' the rhyme
When I'm singing a song about nothing but right
And it'd sure be nice if you would roll with me
Who knows what's up ahead
I think I'd rather not know instead
So now I'm slowing it down and I'm looking around
And I'm lovin' this town and I'm doing alright
Ain't worried 'bout nothing except the man I wanna be
I'm thinking it's time to be livin' the rhyme
When I'm singing a song about nothing but right
And it'd sure be nice if you would roll with me

Fred smile at the song and sang the bridge and chorus quietly.

"Who knows what's up ahead
I think I'd rather not know instead
So now I'm slowing it down and I'm looking around
And I'm lovin' this town and I'm doing alright
Ain't worried 'bout nothing except the man I wanna be
I'm thinking it's time to be livin' the rhyme
When I'm singing a song about nothing but right
And it'd sure be nice if you would roll with me."

Jessica said.

"One of my favorite song you and dad sang all the time. I guess it a sign from my daddy to us!"

Fred looked up and walked over and just hugged her gently.

"How are you feeling?"

Jessica wince in pain.

"Pain."

She held Fred's hand as a tear rolled down her face.

"Daddy. I saw my parents in Heaven and they were so happy to see being with you all."

Fred was aware of the heart attack but he was not sure if she was aware.

"You did?"

Jessica admitted still in tears.

"Yeah, I felt my spirit flying during the surgery and I was walking towards an bright light and then I enter the gate of Heaven and I saw them. My mom was so proud of everything I accomplished and she kept saying thank you for choosing Fred and Mary for taking you in as their daughter and they said we had chosen the perfect godparents for our girl. Dad so agreed with Momma. Dad really loved Jughead and he approved our relationship. My dad and mom is definitely proud of their godson with everything in Archie's accomplishments and the way he looks out for me. That when I truly realize I am in Heaven. I looked down and I see the doctors working on me and then I saw you all waiting for me and once I was revived I had to hug them knowing I was going back to earth."

Fred was in tears.

"You had a heart attack for 15 minutes."

Jessica said.

"Wow. That explain everything."

Archie and Jughead came in as they heard the conversation in tears.

"Oh sis."

The two hugged.

Jughead kisses her forehead and hug her gently.

"Archie was truly worried about you."

Jessica looks at her brother.

"Poor big brother."

It was going to be a long tough recovery. She was in tons of pain but she smiled through it all.
