Mother's Day Talent Show

At the kids school, it was a Mother's Day theme show and they have to show home videos first. Annabelle and Junior did play the trumpet like Marie did. Matthew did a dance based what Jess did when she was 5 but when it got up to Everly, she picked the video that Jess did a duet with her mother at Everly's age. They played the video.

Jess was sitting next to mom as Fred was on the piano and Matt wrote this song to get Jessica to sing with mom. When Jess started to sing, Fred and Mary were speechless as he played the piano and Matt was stunned. Emily was so very proud of her little angel as she hear Jessica sang. Jessica looked at her mother as Emily sang and she was admiring her.

Jughead say as he whispered.

"I can see how proud you were of your mom during the recording."

Jessica smile.

"I was. I would do anything to hear her sing again."

After the video was over, Everly asked in her little voice.

"Can you sing with me, Mommy?"

Jess froze, afraid of what Everly's friends would think of her like Matt did went through.

Matt said encourage mom.

"You got it, Mommy. We are all here for you."

Jess wheeled up the stage and instantly parked her chair as the piano began. In that moment she hears the melody and smile. Mary held her breath as she looked at Everly wishing Fred was here.

Everly began in perfect note as Mary sees Everly has inherited her grandmother and mother singing abilities.

Everyone applauds and Everly looked at her mother's face as Jessica was very proud. Then Jessica sang the second verse as she remembered her mother would sing.

As Jess sang, Everly was smiling as she was proud to show off her mother towards her friends and was so thankful that Uncle Archie found the video. Archie smiled knowing that Dad would be proud as well as Jess's parents.

The two sang the bridge.

Matthew was so proud of Everly since it was her first talent show. Jughead was so proud of both of them. Everly hugged her mom.

"Thank you, Mommy for singing with me!"

Jess admit to her baby.

"Well you surprise me! I haven't sang that song in years the last time I did, I was 10 years old visiting your grandmother and she asked me to sing it again. I had to encourage her to sing her verse."
