Driving Me Crazy

What you see...(The meta-Narrative)

"Fuck, she's not listening to me," sighed Steza.

"What do you expect. She's your reincarnation," murmured Holland. Glaring at her lover, Steza walked over to her and sat down on top of her. She gave Holland's forehead a slap.

"What the?" Holland rubbed her head, "What was that for?"

"Go talk to Rosé. Tell her yourself she took the wrong katana," she bent down and kissed Holland's forehead. The grass scrunched underneath Holland as she tried to capture Steza's lips.

"No. No kisses unless you go tell her," Steza crossed her arms.

"Noooooo," pouted Holland and flayed her arms down the ground, "Sweetheart, you know I can't do that. I need to stay out of their world for a little while longer. So, neither me or Chaeyoung will get tainted."

That's what happens when meta-spirits stay in contact too long with their reincarnations. Both the meta and their reincarnations get tainted and get consumed by darkness. It was one of the few things one is warned of when you enter the spirit world.

The mist scattered around them as Holland gripped onto Steza's hips. Looking down, Steza saw Holland's eyes begin to turn orange. They shimmered beautifully, creating a striking contrast with the woman's dark brown skin. It made Steza's heart jump and she hated how easy it was for Holland to turn her on.

"Stop it," she whispered and Holland's eyes turned brown again as she slumped down into the grass. A few other spirits were lazing around in the "park" some clearly in contact with their reincarnations.

"I can't get in contact with her love. Do you want me to turn into Balmond?" said Holland and Steza shuddered at the thought.

Balmond is Holland's older brother and Jimin's meta. He had stayed in contact with Jimin way too long resulting in both of them becoming tainted. It drove Jimin to kill himself in one of the narratives and now Balmond was in quarantine, where all the other tainted spirits were in the spirit world.

"No I don't want that," sighed Steza, "I just want Jennie and Chaeyoung, in all of the narratives, to be happy together. They're basically us, you know."

"Give Jennie time love. This is the first time you've been in contact with her since she was a toddler," said Holland.

"I know. It's just," she bit her lip, "I got a bad feeling."
