"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The sudden scream made Ren whip the steering wheel. The mini-bus swerved erratically as he tried to get control again. Hyuna hurriedly jumped to the back.

"TAEMIN! TAEMIN! SHUT UP!" she slapped him across the face. Breathing heavily Taemin sat up and turned with wide eyes to look at her.

"Hyuna?" he gasped. She looked at him just as shocked.

"How are you awake?" her eyes were wide as she touched his face. Shaking his head, the travelling technology chip fell out of his ear. Holding it up, he saw its light was dying out. Clenching it he gritted his teeth.

"Someone killed the me in the narrative I was in. The chip must have split our consciousness just in time and brought me back to my proper body," he sighed, "But my other version must be dead," he swore under his breath.

"Where are the others?" he asked and Hyuna pointed to the other seats. Looking over, he saw Rosé, Jaehyun, Dahyun, Jisoo, Lisa and E'dawns bodies, still soundly asleep.

"All of them are still in the narrative you were in. Except for E'dawn, he's still away in the other narrative he had to go to," said Hyuna. As he listened to her his eyes widened as he saw another figure.

"You found Jennie!" he said shocked and Ren spoke.

"Yeah we found her but she's been unconscious for a long while apparently. We had to kidnap her. It's caused a fuck load of trouble," he said. Now that he was thinking about it Taemin wondered why their bodies weren't in the lab.

"Where are we going?"

"We're on the run," sighed Ren as he changed gears. Hyuna frowned as she spoke.

"The Council found our hideout. They stole all our resources. They took some chips as well before burning the entire lab down," she said.

"We think that some people working for The Council have infiltrated some of the other narratives. They've been hunting us done because the technology is reaching its limit. They need Chae to fix that," added Ren.

"The Council has gotten the backing of a very very wealthy man Tae. He's that Jennie's fiancé and well he wasn't happy that we kidnapped her. Now his goons along with council are trying to kill us off and get Jennie back," Hyuna pointed to Jennie's body lying in the back.

"Who is he?"

"Kim Jongin. People call him Kai," said Ren and Taemin's eyes widened.

"We need to get the others back. Things aren't going well for them in the narrative they're currently in," said Taemin.

"We need to find a secure hide out first. CL and Bom have been trying to find one for us but it's been tight," said Hyuna.

"We need to go now! Especially if The Council has gone to the narrative where they are. They're probably the ones who shot me," said Taemin.

"Was it a person in a red car?" asked Ren

"I don't know, I had my back to the shooter," explained Taemin.

"The Council's assassin's use red cars. It's their signature," Ren turned on to a highway.

"We have to go get the others," gritted Taemin.

"I doubt you'll be able to travel back to that narrative since your version there is dead now," said Hyuna and Taemin sighed in realisation.

"You're right," he said softly and looked over sadly at the bodies of the others. Atleast all of them were still breathing.

"But I can go," said Hyuna and he perked up.

"You will?"

"Yeah, we need them to get back safely and it'd be best if no more of anyone else's other versions get killed. But first we need to find a hide out," she said and Taemin nodded.

"Okay, let's do that," he nodded before leaning back. Ruffling his hair he looked at the travelling chip and sighed. Things were turning into a bonafide shitstorm and he had a feeling that they weren't prepared for it at all.
