"Delilah sit yo ass down" tossing a pillow at her I folded all her clothes putting it in a pile. "Pops needs to hurry up and come get you. You starting to piss me off"

"I can't watch the both of you and get things done Dee, and your breaking things"

"Lauren I have to get to school, I'll see you later" Tiana waves rushing towards the door with Remo right behind her. "Bye Delilah and Amir"

"Bye Titi, Squeaky you coming back?" Delilah questions clinging onto his pants leg as he walked by

Nodding he picked her up sitting her beside Squirt. Him and Tiana left quickly waving goodbye.

"Dee go get your Tatum's food bag"

"Okay, bye Squeaky" she waves going up the stairs

Packing away her clothes into her bag I zipped it up, putting it on the couch.

The door bell rung loudly waking Squirt up, he began whimpering until his eyes met mines.

"Morning sunshine" kissing his chubby cheeks I ran to the door opening it before going back before he started crying. "do you think yo daddy landed in Italy yet-why the hell am I asking you?"

Face palming myself I turned and greeted Pops as he walked into the house closing the door behind.

"Binti where's my grands?" his accent is thicker than a snicker as he looks are curiously.(daughter)"where's the white boy?"

"Delilah's upstairs getting her cats bag, Squirts right here" picking up my smiley baby I wiped the drool on his cheek. "Elijah's preparing for his friends funeral and don't call him that"

"Lemme see my grand"

"Wash your hands first, gotta keep my baby germ free" smiling at the mug on his face I pointed towards the bathroom

"Pop Pop!" Delilah shouts sliding down the stairs on her belly with a Tatum running beside her, his bag was strapped to her back. "Hi Pop Pop, I missed you!"

"Mjukuu, I missed you too!" Pops yells going into the bathroom. (granddaughter) "do you have you're Bobo?"

"Yes, I got it!" She shouts looking at it, it hung out of her shirt covering her neck

When Pops came back into the living room I laid Squirt in his arms, putting Delilah's bag on her back I redid her ponytail.

"She already ate so she shouldn't be hungry but then again she is my child so she might be hungry." going into the kitchen I took her lunchbox out the refrigerator. "she has snacks in her and her sippy cup is in the side pocket of her bag"

Handing Delilah her lunchbox I gave her a kiss on the forehead, looking up at Pops I saw the disbelieving look on his face.

"He looks like Izzy" Pops whispers looking at me slowly "reincarnation is a thing! I told you"

"I know, I cried the first night in the house when I realized it" nodding I chuckled poking Squirts chubby cheek when he was about to start whimpering. "he's also attached to me, I think I did too much skin to skin"

"Hassan" Pops mumbles to himself nodding he gives Squirt back to me, picking Delilah up he gave her a kiss taking her lunchbox and Tatum's bag from her. "when he starts walking I'm taking both my grands to Uganda, you can come if you want"

"Duh I'm coming I'm not going to let you take my babies all the way to Africa without me" scoffing I wiped the drool off Squirts chin. "How's the boys?"

"Messiah is upset you didn't call him yell, Ace and Montana are in jail" shrugging he bent over picking up Tatum

"Why didn't they call me? What did they do?"

"I don't know, I didn't ask" Pops shrugs again going towards the door "I'll let you know when I'm ready to give my Mjukuu back"

"Okay, bye Dee I love you"

"See you later love you" waving she blew me a kiss "bye baby blue!"

Playing with Squirts hand I nod my head to the music playing in the car. We're on the way to check on Elijah's gym and barbershop joint.

"Geo, did you eat today?" I ask glancing at him

"I had a bowl of fruits this morning" he nods

"What about for lunch? What did you eat?"

"Nothing"

"Stop at subway, get us something to eat and make sure mines has a cookie with my sub"

"Lauren, I'm not hungry"

"I didn't ask you that" smirking I rolled my eyes when he glanced through the mirror to look at me. "doesn't that sound familiar"

"Using my words against me" chuckling he pulled into the parking lot "does it matter what kind of sub I get you?"

"Nope, just make sure it doesn't have onions or black olives on it"

When he got out the car I called Messiah, to say he was upset was an understatement.

The little shit cussed me out as soon as the call connected, after he got everything off his chest he explained why Ace and Montana are in jail.

Turns out they shot and killed Delilah biological father.
