I have been gone for so long. Omg I am so sorry. It's just that some of the requests didn't inspire me enough so it took me very long to be able to write them. But I get 3 done so you all better enjoy them xD

You and James had been friends for awhile now. Although it was impossible not to noticed that you both wanted more. James helped you out with the bullies a lot. It made you feel so much better about being at Hogwarts.

'Hi Y/N.'

You looked up and saw James and his friends. They sat down with you at the lake. You looked at James and smiled at him right away. He past you a sweet smile back.

'Hi guys. Beautiful day, isn't it?'

'Gorgeous.' James smiled.

It was beautiful outside today. Everything was beautiful since you felt so much more happy.

'Where's your friend?' Sirius asked.

'You don't just ask people that.' Remus sighed.

'It's fine Remus.' You grinned. 'She went to work on some project with her partner. So I thought I'd enjoy the weather.'

You closed the book your were reading. You looked past everyone at the lake. The Slytherins caught your eye.

'Did they stop bothering you?' James asked.

'Yes. They did.' You smiled while looking at him. 'Thanks to you.'

'W-well it's nothing.' He blushed.

'It is a big deal.' Sirius said while playfully pushing James.

'It's not.' James brushed it off.

It was kinda cute to see him acting like this. You liked him. He was nice.

'Well even if you think it's not a big deal, I really appreciate it.' You smiled while laying your hand on his leg.

James' cheeks shot red and he coughed while looking away from you. You quickly let him go. You didn't want him to be uncomfortable.

'See James. Something small can mean a lot to people. So it's a big deal.' Peter said.

'He's right.' Sirius said.

He smirked at James. He turned back to you.

'I don't need your gratitude. As long as they leave you alone I'm satisfied.' He smiled.

'Too bad. You're getting my gratitude.' You chuckled.

James chuckled too. You two smiled at each other for a moment.

'I-uhm.. I think I should go look for my friend. So you boys can talk.'

'No. Actually we were about to go and we had to drop off James with someone.'

He looked at his friends in shock.

'What?' He asked.

'Yeah we didn't tell you because you always want to go with us to this...' Sirius started. 'Thing.'

'What thing?' James asked.

Sirius poked Sirius with his elbow. You didn't even know what was happening. If you bad to believe him.

'You know.. the thing.' Remus said.

'The thing we don't want others to know about.' Peter tried.

'What?' James asked.

'Yeah you know..' Remus said.

'Bye.' Sirius said.

They left as fast as lightning.

'Your friends are..'

'Weird?' James said.

You laughed.

'They're special.' You grinned.

You looked back a James. Should you try to make a move? Would that be completely pointless?

'I guess they suit you. Special people need special friends.'

'Did you just call me special?' He asked.

'Well you are to me. You're the first one who stood up for me at this school.'

James blushed a little.

'Well I don't stand up for people that often. It just looked like you needed it.'

'I'm glad I looked like I needed it. I really did.' You grinned.

James looked at the grass for a moment.

'I don't get why they'd bully someone as amazing as you.' He spoke softly.

You felt your cheeks heat up. What was happening? Did he like you too? You had no idea. All you know was that you enjoyed the way he was talking to you.

'They always find something. You can't possibly be perfect. Even though they think the are.'

'The fact that they think they're perfect and bully people makes them imperfect. I think people who know that they're not perfect are perfect.'

'Stop.' You grinned. 'You're really charming.'

'Am I?' He asked.

'Yes.' You smiled.

'Y/N!' You heard.

You looked back and saw your friend.

'Oh.. I have to go.'

'Y-yeah.. I'll see you later.'

You got up and so did James. You smiled at him, hoping he'd ask you out.. but your name was called again.

'Bye.'

You turned around and wanted to walk away.

'Y/N.'

You turned back.

'You want it.. I don't know.. hang out some time? Do something together?' James asked while smiling shyly.

'I'd love that.' You smiled right away. 'I'll see you later so we can arrange it.'

You walked towards him and kisses his cheek before walking away.
