You were sitting at the breakfast table with your sister. You hardly ever saw her. She was older than you were. She was busy with her own things. She had seen your friends a few times before but she didn't know about your crush.

The problem was that she knew about your hair colour. You didn't want her to know because she'd just go crazy.

Fred and George joined you two. You both looked up.

'Hi guys.' Your sister smiled.

'Hey.' They both said.

George smiled at you. Looked at him and smiled back. You felt your hair turning pink. You shook your head, trying to get rid of it. Your sister looked at you. She smirked a little while looking away.

'Everything alright?' Fred asked her.

'Terrific, right Y/N.' She asked with a smile.

You looked at her.

'Yeah. Everything is fine.' You smiled.

You looked away, knowing that she knew. You felt embarrassed. Your sister was just chatting with them, passing you looks every once in a while. You sighed and got up.

'I'll see you guys later.'

You walked off.

'That's a little weird.' Fred said.

'George, what do you like Y/N?' Your sister asked him.

George, who was just taking a sip of his drink, almost choked on it. He coughed for a moment and looked at her.

'What?' He asked.

'Do you like Y/N?' She repeated.

He looked at her.

'Why are you asking?' He asked.

'Well at least tell me what you think of her.'

'I mean.. she's a very nice girl, her hair is mesmerising. Why are you asking.'

'Has she had pink hair around you guys more often?' She asked.

Fred and George looked at each other before looking back at her.

'Yeah she has. Why?' Fred asked.

'It's always been quite difficult for Y/N to hide her emotions because of her hair. Everyone knows when she's happy, sad, annoyed, angry, disgusted.. that's why not many people here at school knows what the colours mean.. but I do and I think she has a crush on your George.'

George almost choked on his drink again.

'Pink is like love.. I don't think she has the guts to tell you.'

'That's great! George won't shut up about her. He's too scared to ask her though.'

'Stop it Fred. You swore to keep it a secret!'

'She isn't keeping it a secret either. Get up and talk to her.'

'No!'

'The hair reveals it all.' Fred said. 'Go!'

George sighed and got up. He knew that he probably had to talk to you. It was about time that you knew.

He walked into the common room. He waited for you to come down. You looked at him. He saw how your hair flushed a pink colour.

'Hi.' He smiled.

'Hey.' You smiled back at him.

You walked down the stairs.

'Sooo.. I talked to your sister.' He said.

You looked at him.

'Oh no.. what did she tell you?' You asked with a sigh.

'Nothing much..' He said.

You didn't believe him. You raised your brows.

'Just a little about your hair.'

You tried to cover your hair with your hands.

'God I'm so embarrassed! Listen George I-'

'It's okay.' He smiled. 'It's kinda cute.'

You looked at him. George walked towards you, grabbed your wrist and lowered your arms. You looked up at him. Your hair turned a deep shade of pink when he came closer.

'I didn't expect you to actually like me.' He said.

'Well I can't really hide it.' You sighed. 'It drives me insane.. I can't even be alone with my own emotions.'

'I think it's beautiful. It makes you special.'

You looked at him. You blushed a little. You looked away from him.

'It's okay. I like you too.'

You looked up at him right away.

'Really?'

He nodded. You smiled at him.

'Let's go out some time.' He smiled.

'I-I'd love that.' You smiled.

You hugged each other.
