Recently, you were ecstatic because your long-awaited horror movie, "(Insert Scary Movie)," had finally been released on DVD. You were dying to watch it, especially since you had missed the opportunity to see it in theaters.

"Y/bf, can we please watch '(Insert Scary Movie)?'" you pleaded, nestling yourself closer to y/bf on the couch.

"Uh, maybe we could watch something else? How about '(Insert Another Movie Here)?'" he suggested.

"We've already seen that three times! Let's just watch '(Scary Movie),'" you begged, your eagerness unmistakable.

Y/bf sat there for a moment, contemplating your request, before answering with a chuckle, "Oh, fine, only because I love you."

"Yay! Thank you!" you squealed with delight, quickly hugging him before darting into the kitchen.

After you returned to the couch with a bundle of snacks, y/bf pulled you closer into his side. Once the eerie opening scene of the movie started, you couldn't help but smile, knowing that a myriad of frights lay ahead. About 10 minutes into the film, the first jump scare came, causing y/bf to instinctively tighten his grip on you as he pulled you closer to him, holding you tightly like a scared child clutching their favorite teddy bear.

"That was awesome," you grinned, your eyes glued to the screen.

"Mhm, so awesome," y/bf breathed, his face practically buried in your shoulder.

Two more jump scares followed, and by this point, you noticed that y/bf had essentially pulled you onto his lap. His arms encircled you protectively as he buried his head in the crook of your neck. It left you pondering – was y/bf genuinely scared? You knew him as one of the bravest people you'd ever met, so you couldn't help but question your own perception. But shaking off the thought, you continued watching, knowing that the movie was nearing its climax. Yet, when a sudden image of a girl lunging out at the screen startled you, it was nothing compared to the yelp that escaped y/bf's lips.

"Y/bf, are you okay?" you asked, your concern evident.

"Yeah, why?" he stammered, attempting to conceal his unease behind a strained smile.

"Well, you did just scream at the movie, and you've been holding me like a real teddy bear," you pointed out.

"Promise you won't make fun of me?" he asked, the vulnerability in his eyes catching your attention.

You nodded gently, your confusion mounting.

"I'm terrified of scary movies, especially this one," y/bf admitted, his cheeks tinted with embarrassment.

"Aww, why didn't you tell me? There's nothing to be ashamed of," you consoled, a warm smile on your face.

"Thanks for understanding. It must be hard to have a boyfriend who's scared of movies," he grumbled, still somewhat self-conscious.

"Everyone's afraid of different things, just like how I hate roller coasters but you love them," you reassured him.

"That's true. Thanks for understanding," y/bf said, his smile returning as he showered your face in kisses while holding you in his lap.

After completing a different movie, it was finally time for you to head home.

"Thanks for having me; I had a great time," you smiled, planting a kiss on his lips before standing up to leave.

As you made your way to the door, y/bf called out your name.

"Wait, y/n, maybe you could, uh, stay the night?" he stammered, nervously playing with his fingers.

"Why not," you chuckled.

Y/bf generously lent you one of his shirts to sleep in, one that he had seemingly set aside specifically for you. You managed to get ready for bed with y/bf tailing you around like a nervous puppy, which, in a way, he was.
Finally settling into bed, y/bf was right beside you, practically leaping into your arms. Smiling, you cradled his head on your stomach, knowing that tonight you'd be the big spoon.

"Goodnight, y/bf," you cooed, running your fingers through his hair.

"Goodnight, thanks for keeping me safe," he yawned, his arms finding their way around your waist.

Surprisingly, y/bf drifted off to sleep quite quickly, and soon, you joined him in slumber, the night having evolved into a unique and tender memory. A

Hope that was enjoyable! Ily all sm!
