A few weeks later:

About three weeks later, you sat around on the couch while Paige and TJ were out at the Performance Center working out. You missed being at the Performance Center and getting into the ring to fight Paige to get better at what you love, but that's not happening.

You sat on the couch watching TV when your phone started ringing. The only problem, your phone was on the kitchen counter. You didn't want to grab your crutches so you decided to hop on your good foot all the way to your phone. You saw the caller ID, it was the hospital where you got your X-ray scan from.

Y/N:

Hello?

Doc:

Hello, is Y/N Y/L/N there?

Y/N:
Speaking.

Doc:

Good morning, Ms. L/N. I have your

results from the X-ray scan.

Y/N:
Alright, please be something

good.

Doc:

I have good news and bad news.

Which one would you like first?

Y/N:
Everyone always say 'hit me with

the bad news, doc.'

Doc:

The bad news: you actually have a hairline

fracture.

Y/N:
Wow! I don't know what to say?

So, what's the good news?

Doc:

Yes, the good news. The good news

is, you'll be out of the ring for

about two months.

Y/N:

Well, that's good to hear, I guess?

Thanks, Doc!

Doc:

You're welcome.

Get well soon.

Y/N:
Bye.

I looked down at my ankle that's in a brace, and let out a deep sigh. I looked down at my phone and saw the time, TJ and Paige should be done already. I'm gonna call and update them. I dialed Paige's number while I waited for her to answer.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Paige:
Hello?
Y/N:
Hey! Are you and TJ done at the Center?
Paige:
Yeah, we just got in the car.
What's up?
Y/N:
I just got my results from the scan.
Paige:
Really? Hold on, let me put
you on speaker.
*on speaker phone*
Keep going.
Y/N:
Hey TJ.
TJ:
Hey! What did the Doc say?
Y/N:
Well... um... it's a fracture.
Paige:
What? Oh no.
Y/N:
*deep sigh* Yeah, and he said I'm
out of the ring for two months.
TJ:
Keep your head up. Two months
will go by fast.
Y/N:
No, it won't. It'll go by super slow and
then the WWE Universe will forget me.
Paige:
They won't forget about you.
Y/N:
Yes, they will, Paige. There's so much stuff
going on, they'll forget all about me.
TJ:
Even if they do, which is not going
to happen, you'll just show the WWE Universe
who you are and that you're stronger than ever.
Y/N:
I guess you're right.
Paige:
We always are. How about I stop
on the way home and get you
some ice cream?
Y/N:
Please?
Paige:
No problem.
Y/N:
Thank you!
TJ:
Y/N.
Y/N:
Yeah?
TJ:Okay?
Y/N:
Okay.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Paige and TJ pulled up to the house will a bag of ice cream in hand. Paige set the ice cream in the freezer while TJ went to the living room to find you.

"We're back," TJ said.

"Welcome back," you said with a smile.

"We got you your favorite," Paige hollered from the kitchen.

"Thank you, Paige," you hollered back.

Paige, TJ, and you watched TV for a long time to distract your mind from being out of the WWE ring for twelve weeks. The afternoon turned into night and the night turned into a mini pillow and blanket fort in the living room watching movies on end. This is a good way to recover from bad news.
