ATHENA WISHED THAT SHE COULD STUDY. She had a mound of work piled on the table in front of her however she couldn't bring herself to do it. Instead she was awaiting her mission for the order which would happen the following week.

Until then Athena couldn't do anything. The door continued to appear in her dreams like a curse but she'd never get any further than reaching out towards the handle. She saw it in divination lessons too but despite how hard her brain focused the clouds would cover the vision before she could see what was behind the door.

Of course she knew what was behind the door, this had been her house and she'd walked up those stairs dozens of times. That had been Archer's room. She wondered whether the vision had something to do with him, maybe he was living there while looking for somewhere to stay.

Athena hadn't known that the house had been rebuilt, her parents had never told her but she guessed it wasn't that important. She'd always known that the main reason for moving elsewhere hadn't been the fire, it had been the memories attached to what had happened.

Often Athena worked best at night. Her lack of sleep drove her to frustration that could shockingly be cured by getting something done. During the day she'd be able to find ways to procrastinate but now there was nothing else to do.

Therefore she used the light of the moon as she sat on the windowsill and wrote out her essays and assignments that were probably way past the due date. She knew she didn't risk anyone waking up as she could tell that all of the girls in the dorm were heavy sleepers, after all they'd never been awoken from her restless pacing.

Since Athena was doing her work by moonlight she couldn't help but notice how close the full moon was getting. It would happen two days before her mission, based on her calculations. Athena knew that Remus had been through this experience many times however she couldn't help but worry about him.

It was hard seeing him lying in the hospital wing, paler than ever and with new scars lining his skin. She couldn't imagine what it would be like if the other marauders weren't there. Before they became animagi, Remus was even worse and this time was where most of his worst scars came from even after going through magical healing.

Athena still had three scars on her arm from the night that she had made the discovery about Remus. She didn't really mind them anymore, sure the memory of coming face to face with a fully grown werewolf hadn't been great but she liked to think there was now a part of him marked on her, if that made sense.

"He'll be fine Rena" James ensured her, "we'll be with him plus he does this every month"

"That doesn't make it better"

They were sat around the fire again, the marauders were waiting to go down to the whomping willow and join Remus before his transformation. Athena didn't exactly know what she was still doing there, she'd told Remus that she'd be thinking of him but she wasn't sure that they were the right words to say. He didn't really want her to think of him turning into a werewolf.
