*Morning May 3rd*

You stood and waited at the door to your new classroom, hearing the teacher on the other side prepping the other students about your arrival, you straighten your clothes a bit and move your hair a bit to the side. You knew you were nervous but not this nervous to start school again, no less than 2 years behind from being hospitalized....

Teacher: Now class we have a new transfer student who has been living here for a little while from the United States, I would like you all to welcome Y/N L/N!

Upon hearing your name, you gently opened the door and slid it to the side, revealing the classroom to your eyes and image. Stepping through, you approached and stood in front of the class, quickly trying to take in the class's reaction to your entrance. Many of them are already gossiping and whispering to each other about your looks. 

Teacher: Would you like to say something to the class?

You: Hello, I am Y/N L/N, I hope we have a wonderful year together, its a pleasure to meet you all.

With those words you respectfully bowed your head and moved back into position.

Ms. Kawakami: Thank you L/N-Kun, I am Ms. Kawakami, I will be your homeroom teacher for this year. I know the current state of the school at the moment isn't ideal but I hope you find your welcome warm here.

You: Thank you very much. I look forward to your class and this year.

Ms. Kawakami: Alright, I know you have missed a few years of school due to condition but I hope everyone would respect your return to school. As for your seating, we have an open spot right next to Takamaki-san, to the right.

You: Thank you Ms. Kawakami-san.

Kawakami: Alright that concludes that class, we will now get back to our lessons..

Holding onto your bag, you approached your seating arrangement and took notice of the girl you suspect as Takamaki, you saw the blasting charm of her looks, she was completely different then the rest of the girls in the class. Her pigtails were strewn across her shoulders, you couldn't help but get flustered at such a pretty girl. Trying to avoid eye contact, you quickly set yourself into your seat and place your bag into your desk. You couldn't help but overhear students discussing about you.

Gossiping Girl: Did you see him? He is soo cute, don't you think!?

Quiet Girl: He is but didn't he look a little pale? I heard he was down with something for 2 years.

Jealous Guy: Man I've heard girls are talking about him everywhere, just because he is older doesn't mean hes more attractive..!

You started to feel a little uneasy with the gossip quickly and began to scratch your palms a bit...

Takamaki: Don't listen to them, they like to make judgement without even knowing who you are.

You: W..What..?

You turn your head to look at Takamaki, she is resting her head on her hand while looking at the window, only just talking to you at her side. She seems uninterested in school and the current time of day.
