It lands with a sickening crack, the man's head forced down into the ground. Izuku lifts up his foot to bring it down on his skull, but his dad grabs his foot and pulls.

The mud makes it easy to pull Izuku onto the ground. The gun flies out of his hands, and Hisashi grabs it. Instead of shooting Izuku right then and there, the man fires all of the shots into the trees beyond them.

The man grins, his red eyes maddening. His white hair is everywhere, and there is a big smile on his face.

"Now you have no choice but to fight me."

Izuku stares at him and growls. He uses his other leg to kick at the man. His grip loosens and he flips himself back onto his feet.

He is panting, his breath making small clouds of air. He puts one foot in front of him, shifting his body. His hands hold two hunting knives, ready to strike.

The man stands up and moves his hair out of his face with one hand. They stand there for a moment, and Izuku rushes him.

The both of them block and counter each other's attacks, both slowly moving closer and closer to the lake.

The mud and rain make it hard to see well, but Izuku knows that one slip up, one mistake could end in him losing.

The man has a clear advantage, being a whole lot bigger then Izuku. The green haired boy doesn't remember fighting anyone this big before.

Most of his victims back home are small, mostly women, so it was easy to overpower them. This is entirely different, with how his dad towers over him it makes it hard to move that much.

But its not like its impossible to beat him.

Izuku just needs to think of a way to do it.

The knife grazes his cheek and he lets out a annoyed hiss. The man scowls down at him, his knife ready for another blow.

"I hope you'll start paying attention. Thats probably why you're losing. Or is it just because your garbage?"

Izuku goes for the mans neck, his blade touching the skin.

"Shut up."

Before it can plunge into anything, the man has his other arm blocking him by the wrist. He grips it and uses the power in his legs to get himself enough force to throw Izuku back.

He lands on his ass and rolls away from the man who was about to land on him knife first. The man now on the ground, Izuku rolls again and goes to plunge his knife into the man's back.

This time he isn't stopped and it gets right in there, the man letting out a loud yell. Izuku doesn't let himself relish being the first one to get a hit in because right when he does, the man is on his feet and kicking him in the stomach.

He dry heaves, holding his stomach tightly. The man pulls the knife out of his back, letting the weapon drop to the floor.

Having not recovered from the harsh blow to his stomach, Izuku is on the ground still.

Taking this chance, Hisashi goes to kick him again. Izuku's eyes feel heavy when more and more blows are put on him.

"Get up trash. We aren't done yet."

He wants to tell him how the hell is he supposed to do that when the man is crushing his internal organs.

There is a loud crack and Izuku screams. That was definitely a rib being broken right there.

Next is his arm.

The man doesn't stop until Izuku is sure this is how he is going to die.

Maybe that would be better

He wouldn't have to endure this hell ever again

He could just give up

That thought makes Izuku feel even more exhausted, his eyes almost closing. His mind is buzzing and there is pain spiking from every part of his body.

"What the hell do you think you're doing idiot?! Get the fuck up or I'm going to kill you myself you got that?!"

Izuku's eyes shoot open, and he grips the knife in his hand. He still has his other arm and legs.

He is going to make it through this and go home.

He is going home with Katsuki no matter what.

Izuku feels a surge of sudden strength and he grabs the mans leg when he goes to kick him. He plunges the knife into his leg over and over, not stopping even when the mans other leg goes to kick him.

The man falls to the ground and Izuku goes to stab his chest. Blood is all over his clothes and his face, clenching his teeth and letting out a scream.

The man wrestles him, the both of them turning and fighting for their lives. Izuku catches a glimpse of the water, and the idea clicks into his head.

The man doesn't seem to notice, his eyes never leaving Izuku.

Good.

Finally, Izuku has him in the perfect spot, and when the man notices its already too late.

Izuku grins at him and puts as much strength as he can into it, throwing the man into the water. The man screams but its cut off by a loud splash. Izuku staggers up, clutching his broken arm. He is panting, watching the water.

It is splashed again and again, the sound of his old man struggling against the muddy water and the plants gripping his legs that are already injured. Izuku's shoulders shake, and he turns away.

His chest feels like it's going to collapse but he keeps moving. He doesn't know if he's crying but he hopes its just the rain.

His vision gets blurry.

It's just the rain.
