Barf Bag was around 32 weeks into her pregnancy. Everything was going smoothly and the babies were as active as ever. She spent most of her days preparing for the arrival of the twins, with the nursery almost completed and a growing collection of baby supplies.
One evening, Barfy was playing with blocks with Thread and Bladey. She knew once the babies came, it would be a little bit harder for her to spend as much one on one time with them, so while she had their undivided attention, she wanted to make the most of it.
"Look Auntie Barf Bag!" Thread said, "My tower is so big!"
Barf Bag laughed, admiring the precariously tall tower of blocks. "That is very impressive, Thread! You have quite the talent for building."
Bladey, not wanting to be outdone, quickly added another block to her own tower. "Mine's going to be even bigger!" she declared with determination.
Barf Bag smiled, enjoying the playful competition between the two girls. As she reached for another block to add to Bladey's tower, she started to feel a subtle tightness in her abdomen, though it wasn't necessarily painful.
Bladey looked over at her aunt in concern, "Are you okay, Auntie Barf Bag?"
Barf Bag nodded, "I'm okay girls, the babies are just making my tummy feel a little strange, that's all."
Thread started to squeal, excited that her new brothers were coming soon, "Are we going to meet the babies today?"
Barf Bag vigorously shook her head, "Gee, I hope not. They're not supposed to be here for another two months!"
Bladey and Thread looked slightly disappointed, "But I want them to play blocks with us!" Bladey exclaimed.
Barf Bag smiled, reassuring the girls, "Don't worry, two months is going to go by so fast! And then, you guys will get to help me with these two." Barf Bag rubbed her stomach, hoping the tightness would subside. She'd been experiencing some braxton hicks over the past couple of days, but it was nothing of concern.
The three of them continued playing with each other. Barf Bag was annoyed by the braxton hicks, but put on a smile for the sake of the girls.
Meanwhile, Pin was talking with Gaty in the kitchen, when she noticed that Barf Bag was rubbing her belly a lot, looking a little bit uncomfortable.
"Hold on, Gaty," Pin said, "I gotta go do something real quick!"
Pin knew that Coiny had some fun activities for them to do downstairs, and decided to use that to give Barf Bag a break, "Oh girls!"
Thread and Bladey turned around to look at Pin. Pin placed Thread into her wheelchair, "MOM! I was just playing blocks!" Thread said, not wanting the fun to end.
Thankfully, Pin knew that the girls wouldn't be angry for much longer, "I think Coiny has a tea party set up downstairs!"
Immediately, the girls forgot about the blocks, and raced down there as fast as they could.
Barf Bag was grateful for Pin's help, "Phew, thanks Pin, I love them, but I really needed a break."
Pin smiled, "I get it, kids can be exhausting sometimes, especially those two. Let me guess, Braxton hicks?"
Barf Bag nodded, "Yeah, they're kinda annoying."
Pin understood how Barf Bag felt, "I've been there before. They're kind of the worst, well, other then the actual labor pain, but they still kinda suck, especially if they're more speratic. Just take it easy for the rest of the night, the rest of us have everything under control"
