151. Don't Embarrass Me Dad!

Needle was on the phone with Pen and Eraser. She wanted to organize a time for Capy to come over to the house, since Dimey had gotten along with her quite nicely over the course of some basketball practices, and with the weather finally starting to warm up, the two could even play outside together, something that she knew they'd both love.

"So what do you think?" Needle asked. "Does tomorrow after school work?"

Pen answered happily. "I don't see why it wouldn't."

Needle smiled, glad that she was able to arrange something. "Awesome! I'll plan to pick them up tomorrow once school ends."

"Thanks Needle." Eraser responded. "I'll tell Capy that everything looks like it should work out!"

"I'll say the same to Dimey!" Needle gave a quick chuckle before hanging up the phone. "Oh Dimey!"

Dimey quickly came running down the stairs as he heard his mom. "Is Capy coming over tomorrow?"

Needle nodded. "Yes, I'm planning to pick you both up tomorrow."

"YES!" Dimey jumped into Needle's arms and gave her a big hug. "Thank you thank you thank you thank you!"

"No problem dude." Needle patted Dimey on the head before he let go. "I hope that you and her can hang out more outside of basketball practice."

As Needle was talking to Dimey, Coiny came running up from the basement with Thread in his arms, both in princess dresses.

"Don't worry Princess Thread." Coiny said to her in a feminine voice, running over to the living room. "I will save you from the evil monster."

Thread laughed as her dad was carrying her. "Why thank you Princess Daddy!" Coiny gently placed her on the living room couch.

"Let me go get your wheelchair for you, Princess Thread." Coiny ran down to the basement and grabbed Threads wheelchair, and brought it back up to where Thread was on the couch.

"Thank you." Thread scooted herself back onto her wheelchair. Coiny danced with her in the chair, both having an innocent fun time.

Needle went over to the two of them, seemingly both having a great time. "Well, looks like you two are having a blast over here," she said with a smile.

Thread giggled as she twirled her wheelchair with her dad's help. "Princess Daddy saved me from the monster! We're celebrating now."

Coiny gave Needle a playful wink. "Anything for my princess." He lifted Thread's hand in a mock royal bow, making Thread laugh even more.

Needle couldn't help but chuckle. "You two are adorable." She then turned her attention to Dimey, who had been watching the scene with a bit of amusement but was clearly itching to share his news. "Dimey, why don't you tell Daddy and Thread what's happening tomorrow?"

Dimey bounced excitedly on his feet. "Capy's coming over tomorrow after school! We're gonna play outside and hang out!"

Coiny was happy for Dimey. "That sounds like fun! You two looked like you were getting along when I went to your basketball practice recently."

Dimey nodded. "Capy is really cool! I can't wait for you to really meet her!"

Thread laughed, taking off her princess dress. "I think Princess Daddy and I have a royal ball planned for tomorrow."

Coiny smiled. "Yes we do! Maybe if you or Capy want to, you can join us!"

That's when Dimey froze. This was going to be Capy's first time over at their house, and he wanted her to get a first good impression of his family. The last thing he wanted was for her to see his Dad dancing around in a princess dress. "Maybe...don't do the ball tomorrow."
