Sprinkle and Sack were outside at recess with the rest of their classmates. The two were having a great time, laughing with each other.

"You know Sack," Sprinkle said, putting his hand into his mouth, "I think I might have my first loose tooth too!"

Sack gasped. "Really? That's so cool, Sprinkle! Which one is it?"

Sprinkle pointed inside his mouth. "It's this one."

Sack smiled. "That's the same one I lost!"

Sprinkle squealed. "Then that means we get to be matching once this one comes out!"

"Do we need to get Thread and use her wheelchair again?"

Sprinkle frantically shook his head. "Not yet, Sack. My tooth isn't that loose yet, we need to wait until it;s a lot looser. Yours was very loose when we pulled it."

Sack shrugged. "I guess that makes sense."

As the two continued to talk, a group of kids slowly approached them. When Sprinkle noticed, it only took him a second to realize that these were not just any kids; they were second graders! Sprinkle was instantly in awe, always having wanted to be noticed by the cool kids.

"What's up, guys." one of the kids said.

Sprinkle put on a giant grin. "Hi! You guys seem awesome!"

"Heh, thanks." the kid said. His eyes then immediately darted over at Sack, who was lost in his own thoughts. "Hey you, nice tooth gap you got there."

Sack pointed at himself. "Me?"

The kid nodded. "Yeah, pretty cool in my opinion."

Sack smiled, embracing his tooth gap. "Thank you, my brother helped me pull it out." Sack put his arm around Sprinkle, as Sprinkle gave him a thumbs up, trying to look cool in front of the kids.

Then, the kid himself smiled, showing off his own tooth gap. "Looks like we both have the same one!"

Sprinkle and Sack smiled at each other, feeling like the two luckiest boys in the world

"You know," the kid continued. "We're all playing a game of tag if you would like to come join us."

Sack thought about it for a minute. Sprinkle looked over at him, as if he was trying to use his twin telepathy powers to say 'do it, Sack!'. Eventually, Sack made up his mind. "Okay...but only if my brother can come play with us too!"

Sprinkle tried to act cool in front of the kid, but the kid was hesitant. "Hmmm, I don't know. Why should he come play with us?"

Sprinkle immediately jumped in, wiggling his tooth in front of the second grader. "It's loose though, it will fall out soon, I promise."

The kid crossed his arms. "Yeah, but...it's still there."

Sprinkle got on his knees, begging to be let in the group. "Pleeeaase? I'll do anything!"

"Anything?" The kid responded, his eye's widened.

"Anything." Sprinkle practically whispered.

The kid thought about it, and then pulled out a bag of candy. "Theese are some really sour candies. If you can eat at least four, then you can come play with us."

Sprinkle gasped, taking the bag of candy out of the kid's hand. He was on cloud nine; he was finally going to join the group of cool second graders.

Sack, however, looked over at Sprinkle in concern. Sprinkle had been doing well managing his diabetes up until this point, and Sack knew that he wasn't supposed to be eating without taking his shots first, especially candy. Sprinkle, however, didn't seem to care, and was ready to eat the candy anyway.
