As the sun rose at the winter resort, the throuple had woken up for another day on the mountain. When Pin and Needle woke up, they noticed quickly that Coiny wasn't next to them in bed.

"Needle?" Pin asked, concerned.

"Hmmm?" Needle mumbled, still groggy form just waking up.

Pin looked around her. "Where the heck is Coiny?"

Needle began to look around her as well. "I have no clue?" The two of them started to get worried, until they heard a strange noise coming from the bathroom.

"COINY?" Pin immediately got out of bed and burst open the door to the bathroom, only to find Coiny hunched over on the toilet.

Coiny, visibly tired, looked up at Pin. "Oh...morning Pin."

Pin was visibly worried about him. "What's happening here?"

Coiny put on a faint smile, trying to ease Pin's worries. "I threw up three times last night."

Pin's face filled with concern as she crouched down next to Coiny. "Why didn't you wake me or Needle up? You're concussed, you have to tell us if something isn't right!"

Coiny shrugged weakly, leaning his head back against the bathroom wall. "I didn't want to worry you both, especially after everything that happened with the fall. I figured it was just a side effect."

By this point, Needle had gotten out of bed, and had come into the bathroom to check on Coiny. "That's it, I'm giving Barf Bag a call, no buts, I need to get her opinion on this."

Coiny didn't argue with her, and let Needle make the call to Barf Bag for a second opinion.

Pin started rubbing his back, trying to comfort him. "I know you want to keep it together for us and the kids, but you can't try and be all tough with a head injury."

Coiny groaned, still in pain from the injury. "I'm sorry Pin, I just don't like seeing you all worried."

"I know." Pin stood up next to him. "But you'll only worry us more if you try to keep things like this from us, okay?"

Coiny nodded, "Okay, you're right, I guess."

Just then, Needle got off the phone with Barf Bag. "She said that vomiting can happen with a concussion, but to keep an eye on it and make sure things don't get worse."

"You hear that?" Pin said. "Looks like we have the approval to keep fussing over you."

Coiny let out a faint chuckle. But quickly, clutched his stomach, his face tightening as the nausea swept over him again. Pin and Needle immediately rushed to his side, ready to support him.

"Okay, let's get you back to bed," Needle said, her voice firm but gentle. She guided him to stand slowly, Pin steadying him on the other side.

They helped him walk back to the bed, where he collapsed onto the pillows with a groan. "This is worse than I thought," Coiny admitted, his eyes half-closed from the dizziness and exhaustion.

"You know." Needle said, "Maybe I should just take you back home. I don't think trying to recover here is the best idea."

"No." Coiny said, not wanting to be a burden. "You don't need to do this."

"Coiny, please." Needle insisted. "Pin can stay here and watch Thread, and Dimey will be in good hands on the mountain with the others."

"But what about you?" Coiny felt bad. "I don't want to ruin your vacation Needle."

"Coiny." Needle said, stroking his cheek. "I won't be able to enjoy my vacation anyway if I have to worry about you all day."

Coiny stared up at Pin and Needle, finally giving in. "Okay... okay, let's go home."
