"Hey, Needle!" Coiny exclaimed, as he was on his computer in his room.

"What?" Needle responded, as she walked into the room.

Coiny gestured for her to come take a look at the computer. "Look what I just found!"

Needle went over to the computer where Coiny was, where he pulled up something he saw online. "There's a family 5K tomorrow at the high school, and it takes us around some parts of south Goiky."

Needle was intrigued. "A race, huh?"

Coiny nodded, a smug look on his face."Oh yeah. And check out the prizes they're giving to the winners!"

Coiny turned his computer screen to face Needle. "Damn, that's not nothing!"

"So what are you thinking?" Coiny asked. "Should we do this or not."

Needle nodded, a giant smile growing on her face. "I'm in!"

Coiny was glad to have Needle on board. "I was thinking if we can get everyone to do the race, the rest of us can pair up with the kids and we can go at their pace. I was thinking of going with Dimey, and maybe Pin can push Thread in her chair."

Needle thought that Pin pushing the chair was going to be a bit of a challenge. "Thread's chair is pretty heavy...do you think she could do it all by herself?"

Coiny thought about it for a minute. "You're right, I even get tired after pushing her when we go on walks. Maybe some of the others can help and they can go in shifts?"

Needle paused for a moment. "I think that could work. I mean, of course we want to include her in the race, that might be the best way."

Coiny smiled, glad that they were able to include their daughter. "Let me grab Pin and the others and we can come up with a plan."

After all gathering around the computer, the rest of the adults were looking forward to doing the race with the kids. It would be a good way to not only have them get some exercise, but also just have some fun.

Gaty glanced over at Saw, "So, I'm guessing we're bolth going to go with Bladey?"

"Actually," Saw had a suggestion, "She could just go with you, and I can help Pin push Thread!"

"Oh, I can help too!" Donut added. "You think you can handle the twins by yourself Barfy."

"Eh, I guess I'm willing to get dead last." Barf Bag said with a chuckle. "I'll honestly be impressed if we finish the race."

"Okay." Coiny confirmed. "I think I'm going to go with Dimey, and Needle's going to go by herself to try and get us that cash."

Everyone looked at eachother, before eventually nodding in agreement. "Yup!" Pin said with a confident smile. "That sounds about right!"

The next morning, everyone arrived at the high school, buzzing with excitement. The atmosphere was lively, with families milling around, stretching, chatting, and pinning on their race numbers. Booths lined the edge of the field, selling snacks, handing out water bottles, and showcasing community programs.

Dimey tugged at Coiny's arm as they stood near the starting line. "I'm going to run so fast, Dad! Are you ready?"

Coiny chuckled. "Oh, I'm ready, little buddy. But remember, it's a longer race. Don't wear yourself out to soon, okay?"

Dimey nodded, though his bouncing on the balls of his feet suggested he had no intention of pacing anything.

Meanwhile, Pin was adjusting Thread's seatbelt in her wheelchair. "Alright, kiddo, are you comfy?"
