Pin waited outside the door for a brief moment, waiting to be let into the shop. It would be a lie if Pin didn't say she was a little nervous. It had been so long since she had seen them, and while they definitely had quite the history with her, and most of the cast for that matter, she never forgot one thing: she wouldn't be standing here without them.
Pin was thinking about what it was going to be like to see them again, but was snapped back to reality when she heard voices from inside the shop.
"TB! GO ANSWER THE DOOR!"
"Awwww. Okay..."
Tennis Ball opened the front door, and was quite surprised to see Pin standing in front of him. "Hey." Pin managed to mutter.
"GOLFIE! IT'S PIN!" Tennis Ball shouted across the shop.
Golf Ball came running to the front of the store, and made eye to eye with Pin for the first time in years. "Pin? Oh my gosh...IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR LIMBS? Oh I knew something like this was gonna come up at some point-"
"What? No, no!" Pin said, understanding the confusion. "I'm actually here to check this place out and see what you guys have?"
Golf Ball tilted her head in confusion. "You do know that this is a shop for mobility aids...right?"
Pin nodded, realizing the misunderstanding. "Oh, no, I'm not here for me. I'm actually...I'm actually here for my daughter."
Golf Ball's eyes widened. "Your daughter?"
Pin nodded, pulling out her phone, and opening a picture of Thread. She turned the phone to face Golf Ball. "This is Thread, my oldest. She got into an accident when she was two and is paralyzed from the waist down. We've had her current chair for a while now, and Coiny, Needle, and I think it's time for an upgrade."
Tennis Ball, who was standing behind Golf Ball, nodded in agreement. "It seems like that chair might be getting a little small for her, not to mention it looks as if it's seen better days."
Pin chuckled at the comment. "Yeah, Thread never lets her chair hold her back from doing what she wants."
"Well, you came to the right place!" Golf Ball said. "Follow me and I'll show you around!"
"Thank's GB." Pin said softly. "You know...what you did for me with my new limbs changed my life. I have no doubt you'll do the same for my daughter."
Golf Ball smiled as led the way to a section dedicated to pediatric and teen mobility aids. "How active is Thread? Does she prefer something lightweight for maneuverability, or does she need more support?"
"She's pretty independent," Pin answered. "She doesn't like being slowed down, so she needs something she can move easily by herself."
Golf Ball nodded, already running through potential options in her head. "Got it. We have a few high-performance chairs that are built for active users. Some are ultra-lightweight with reinforced frames, and we even have models designed for sports."
Pin's eyes lit up. "That sounds perfect. Thread's always on the go—she loves racing around with her friend Flare at recess. Something durable but easy to move would be ideal."
Tennis Ball walked over to a display showcasing various models. "These ones here are some of our bestsellers for kids and teens. They're customizable, too—different frame colors, wheel types, even cushion styles."
Pin glanced at the options before her, impressed by the variety. "I think she'd love getting to pick a color. She's been stuck with black for as long as I can remember!"
