Dimey and Bladey were on the couch in the living room, waiting until they heard a knock on the door. Their friend Capy was coming over, and the two were excited to get out of the same regiment of their parents, aunts, and uncles fussing over them during the summer.

"What do you think we should do when she gets here?" Dimey asked.

Bladey got up from the couch. "Maybe we can ask your Dad if we can go outside, at least it's not as hot today."

As soon as they heard the knock, the two sprinted over to the door, and were fighting to open it.

Coiny heard the knock too, and was heading over to the door to help the kids greet Capy.

"Alright you two!" Coiny exclaimed. "You won't have much time to hang out with Capy if you guys keep fighting over the door."

Upon hearing that, they instantly stopped fighting, and let Coiny open the door. There, they saw Capy standing in front of them with her dad.

"Capy!" Dimey and Bladey shouted in unison, as they went to go hug their friend.

Capy smiled as she hugged her friends back, her eyes shining with excitement. "Hey, guys! Thanks for inviting me over. I was getting so bored at home."

Coiny and Pen smiled at each other, glad that their kids were getting to hang out again. Pen chuckled. "I'm hoping you won't let them get into any mischief, Coiny."

Coiny winked at Pen. "We'll see about that."

Pen said goodbye to his daughter, and drove away, leaving Capy with her friends.

"So?" Capy asked. "What do you two want to do?"

"We were thinking maybe we could go outside." Dimey suggested. "It's not as hot today."

"Oh! Can we play some soccer?" Capy asked, jumping up and down. "Soccer will start up again before we know it!"

"That sounds like fun!" Bladey exclaimed. "I'm not very good at it though."

Capy grinned and gave Bladey a reassuring pat on the back. "That's okay! We'll teach you. It's all about practice anyway."

The three of them hurried outside, grabbing an old soccer ball from the garage. The backyard was big enough for a friendly game, with just enough shade to keep things comfortable. Capy set the ball down and clapped her hands together.

"Alright, let's warm up! Dimey, want to show Bladey how to dribble?"

Dimey nodded, confidently taking the ball and demonstrating some simple moves. "It's easy once you get the hang of it! Just tap the ball lightly with your feet and keep it close."

Bladey gave it a try, stumbling at first but soon getting the hang of keeping the ball close. "Hey, this isn't so bad!" he said, a grin spreading across his face.

After a few minutes, Capy called out, "Ready for a little match?"

Dimey perked up. "A match, you say?"

Just then, Coiny poked his head out the door, checking on the kids to make sure they weren't up to anything suspicious. "What are you all doing out here."

"We were going to play a soccer match!" Dimey said, jumping up and down. Just then, a lightbulb went off in his head. "Hey, maybe you can join us!"

"Yeah Uncle Coiny!" Bladey exclaimed. "It'll be fun!"

"Although..." Capy realized, "We don't have many people..."

Coiny thought about it, but then had an idea. "How about I go inside and ask if anyone else wants to play with us!"
