As the next day arose for Team8s, they had a lot on their mind, but the one thing that kept occipying them the most was Barf Bag and the twins. Any update, photos, or just about anything related to them had the whole household running to whoever had the update on their phone.

"Hey guys!" Coiny said, "Donut just sent me another picture!"

Everyone rushed over, crowding around Coiny to get a glimpse of the photo. The picture showed Barf Bag and Donut sitting beside the incubators, looking tired but incredibly happy. Their expressions were a mix of relief, joy, and love as they gazed down at their tiny sons, Sprinkle and Sack, each snug in their incubator.

"Oh, they look so precious!" Gaty exclaimed, her eyes welling up with tears. "I can't wait to meet them."

"They're fighters, just like Barf Bag and Donut," Pin added, smiling warmly. "They've already come so far."

Bladey, who had been hovering at the edge of the group, piped up excitedly, "Can we go see them now? Thread and I made these for Sprinkle and Sack!" She held up two colorful drawings, each featuring bright rainbows and happy faces.

Saw crouched down to Bladey's level, her eyes softening with affection. "That's so sweet, Bladey. I'm sure they'll love them. But we might have to wait a little bit longer before we can visit. The doctors need to make sure the babies are strong enough for visitors."

"Awwwww," the two girls said in defeat.

Saw patted Bladey on the shoulder and smiled gently. "Don't worry, Bladey. As soon as the doctors say it's okay, we'll go see them, and you can give them your beautiful drawings. For now, we'll just keep sending them our love and support."

Bladey and Thread nodded, a bit more reassured. "Okay, we'll wait," Thread said, still holding her drawing with pride. "I just want to make sure they know we're thinking about them."

"They know we are, trust me," Needle interjected. She tried to give the two girls something else to think about, "Little Dimey over here would love try and color with you guys, let me bring him up and the four of us can color together!"

Bladey and Thread's faces brightened at the suggestion. "That sounds like fun!" Bladey exclaimed. "We can make more pictures for Sprinkle and Sack!"

Needle smiled and nodded, glad to see their spirits lifted. She quickly went to fetch Little Dimey, who was just waking up from a nap. The toddler's eyes lit up with excitement when he saw the coloring supplies and his sister and cousin waiting for him.

As the four of them settled down at the table, the atmosphere in the house became lighter and more joyful. The sound of laughter and chatter filled the room as they colored and talked, creating a comforting backdrop for the day.

"Hey everyone, come downstairs!" Gaty shouted, "I have Donut and Barf Bag on video call, they want to say hi to all of you!"

Needle could see the eye's of the two little girls light up, "You here that, you get to talk to them!"

Without hesitation, they made their way downstairs as quickly as possible to chat with their aunt and uncle.

Barf Bag, who was still in her hospital bed, smiled as she saw the girls out of the corner of her phone screen, "Is that Bladey and Thread I see?"

Bladey and Thread beamed with excitement, waving enthusiastically at the screen. "Hi, Auntie Barf Bag! Hi, Uncle Donut!" they chorused, their voices filled with joy.

"Hi, sweeties!" Donut greeted, his face lighting up at the sight of the girls. "We've missed you all so much. How are you doing?"

Bladey held up the drawings she and Thread had made. "We made these for Sprinkle and Sack! We can't wait to give them to them!"

Barf Bag's eyes welled up with tears as she saw the colorful drawings. "Oh, those are beautiful! Thank you so much, girls. Sprinkle and Sack are going to love them."

Thread, looking eager, asked, "How are Sprinkle and Sack doing? Are they getting stronger?"

Donut nodded reassuringly. "They're doing great, little by little. The doctors say they're only getting stronger. We can't wait for you to meet them in person."

The girls squealed in excitement. Bladey, however, was concerned when she saw a giant red line across Barf Bag's somach, "What's that!" she shouted in both curiosity and slight concern.

Barf Bag smiled, looking at her scar, "This is where the doctors cut my tummy open to get the babies out!"

Bladey's eyes widened in amazement. "They had to cut you open? Did it hurt?"

Barf Bag chuckled softly, shaking her head. "It was a little scary at first, but the doctors made sure I didn't feel any pain. They took good care of me and the babies."

Thread leaned closer to the screen, her eyes filled with wonder. "So, Sprinkle and Sack came out from there? Wow!"

"Yeah, it's how they came into the world," Donut added, his voice filled with pride and tenderness. "And now they're getting stronger every day, just like their mom."

The girls looked relieved and fascinated, their earlier concern fading away. "We're so glad you're all okay," Bladey said, her voice soft with affection.

The video call continued with more updates, laughter, and shared stories. The bond between the family members felt stronger than ever, with everyone eager to support and be there for one another.

As the call ended, Barf Bag and Donut promised to send more photos and updates soon. They waved goodbye, leaving everyone with a sense of warmth and connection.

After the call, the household continued to buzz with excitement and joy. The anticipation of welcoming Barf Bag, Donut, and the twins home brought smiles to everyone's faces. They knew it was a long road ahead for Barfy and Donut, and an even longer one for the twins, but they knew that this was nothing they couldn't handle.

..........................................................

This chapter is very rushed, but oh well, this is what I get for having so much fun in Chicago. Speaking of which, Chicago was amazing, and I loved BFDIA 14!

But the absolute highlight of the meetup for me was getting to meet an actual Team8s and Counting fan in person... major shoutout to @CyrstalThePenSimp for being a huge fan of this book.

Thank's to everyone for your support on this book, it really does mean a lot to me, and I wouldn't be able to keep this book chugging along at this pace without it. See you in the next chapter!
