Short hair

He was nervous, you could see it at the way he was moving his legs and playing with his rings around his fingers. You rolled your eyes at him, putting your hands on his shoulders to massage them softly. You felt his body relaxing under your touch, a long sign leaving his mouth when you left a very light kiss on his neck, putting just enough pressure to make him feel your lips on his skin. "It's going to be okay baby. Ready?" He took a few seconds to adjust himself on his chair and finally nodded, not daring to pronounce a single word. He closed his eyes when he heard the sound of the scissors starting. When he open them, your where holding his ponytail in front of him, showing him all the hair you had just cut off. "woops." You laughed at him when you saw him raise his eyebrows. "i'm going to miss the long hair but it doesn't matter; thats an amazing thing done for the Little Princess Trust." You leaned down to kiss his check, a tear running down you face. "Darcy would be so proud off you" you said in remembrance of your 2 year old daughter who passed away today 3 years ago.
