Jealousy

Elijah and I were walking through the park talking about our fun times.

"Do you remember when I was on the balcony. An egg slipped out of my hand and it landed on Nik's head? He had yolk all over his face."

Elijah chuckles and said:

"I never saw Niklaus more miserable since then."

"You don't think he is still mad at me for that, do you?" I ask seriously.

"No. I don't think so."

I sigh in relief and he added:

"Although he did mention something about getting revenge."

A breath hitched in my throat and I looked at him with wide eyes. A small smile tugged at his lips and he said:

"I was just kidding, darling."

I huff and say:

"That's not funny."

"Your facial expression was priceless."

I glare at him and he smiles innocently at me.
Kai came running in and hugs me from behind. I yelp out and held onto Kai's hands. He says:

"Hi babe."

"Hey. Is everything ok?"

"Yes.  I just had the best idea. We should go swimming in this water hole with a beautiful waterfall. I know how much you love the water."

"That is very true."

I turn to Elijah to invite him, but before I could say anything, Kai swept me away. He held me bridal style. I managed to scream:

"Bye Eli."

He waves goodbye and I turn my attention to Kai.

"Are you serious, Kai? What was that about?"

"He hangs around you too much."

"Baby. We were close friends before I met you. We still are close friends."

"I've seen the way he looks at you."

"What's that suppose to mean?"

"He looks at you like I look at you."

"And how do you look at me?"

He walks over and cups my cheeks.

"Like I am completely and utterly in love with you."

"Awww. Kai."

I kiss him passionately. He pushes me up against the wall and kisses me roughly. I hum into the kiss and I pull away to say:

"But what about the water?"

He kisses down my neck and says between kisses.

"The water can wait."

I pout and he stops kissing.

"Oh fine." He groans.
