As the juniors were getting ready to go off for their night-hunt, Lan Qiren told them, "I'm going to send Wangji and Wei Wuxian with you." The juniors were confused as to why Lan Qiren would suddenly change his mind on sending senior cultivators with them.
Wei Wuxian felt groggy since it wasn't his usual time to get up, his ass also felt exceptionally sore from the sex he and his husband, Lan Wangji, had last night. "I'll only step in if you truly need help" He said sarcastically.
Lan Wangji nudged him and he suddenly stiffened. Lan Qiren, his in-law, was staring at him, he cleared his throat and said, "If anything demonic happens, you should know how to deal with it. Teach the kids well." Wei Wuxian didn't know if he just was hearing things or not but he got excited over being complemented by his teacher and husband's uncle.
