Episode three: Ashley's return

Lillian and Henry walked into the Granny's cafe, Lillian's arm lazily hung over the boy's shoulder. They spotted Emma and Hook sitting in the last booth of the right corner as they walked over to them, Henry taking a seat next to his mom as Lily went to sit next to her cousin.

''Just finished signing in the last of the newcomers. I had everyone write down who they were traveling with so we can add up who's still out there.''

''Clever boy.'' When Lillian tilted her head at Killian, he chuckled. ''And girl.''

''Emma! Lily! Hi!''

''Ashley, hi! Hey, Alexandra! How are you? - You guys want to sit down and join us?'' Before Emma even finished her sentence, Lily had already taken little Alex into her arm, smiling at the young blond toddler.

''Oh, no, thank you. Thomas is just getting us some food to go.'' Lily's head turned to Thomas as she waved, him waving back at her with a grin on his face. ''And I don't want to take up your time. I know you're busy, but with all these new people, I just I thought that I should help somehow, and since I'm running the daycare, I figured why not offer them free babysitting. Anyway, I was hoping to maybe get a look at that list just to see who brought kids.''

''Well, if you can understand these scribbles, then be our guest.''

''Hey, those are MY scribbles.''

''Sorry, Lass.''

''Great.'' Ashley took the book from them, looking over the list as she sat down, Lillian still with toddler Alex in her arms. Making funny faced like she did with Luna and Liam when they were younger.

''Someone new. Mom, want to come help?''  

''That's what I do, kid.I'll be right back.'' Lillian looked over to see Henry and Emma walk over, deciding to have some fun, she placed Alex next to Killian.

''You wouldn't mind distracting Alexandra for a bit right? GREAT.''  She rushed away to stand next to Henry, looking over into his book before hearing Killian softly starting to talk to Alexandra. 

''Hey.You have to tell me about your doggy. What?'' Killian chuckled as he put some whipped cream on his face, making weird noises. ''Whoop! Blblblblblblblb! Ruff, ruff, ruff! That's quite the little charmer you've got there.''

''Yeah, thanks to Emma, and Lillian most of all. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have any of this. What about the two of you, anyway? Any chance of a fairy-tale ending?''

''Uh, we're taking things slow. Quite slow, actually. I'm still sleeping on a cot on a pirate ship near a pregnant woman who likes to snore.''

''I have a good feeling about you and Emma. Believe me if I can get a happy ending, anyone can.''

Lillian had picked up Luna and Liam from school alongside Peter. Lillian walked hand in hand with Peter as the twins were happily chatting about what they'd learn at school. They weren't in the same class, at request of their own, and so they could chat about it right now. 

But Lily's mind was somewhere else, she was thinking of Neverland. She had hoped to once bring her children to the magical island, but after last time they'd been there, she didn't want to go back at all. She was snapped out of her thoughts when Peter waved his hand in her face.

''Where's your mind?''

''Nowhere, it's nothing to worry about.'' 

She looked over to Killian and Henry in Emma's garden waving her over, smiles on their faces.
