Chapter six: Deep waters

''Stay away from her!'' Zelena rushed into her house, grabbing her baby from the crib as David sighed, holding his hand up.'' 

''We just came for Archie. We're not here to hurt your daughter.''

''Well, excuse me for not taking any chances.''

''Thanks, sis.'' the Evil queen walked into the house, looking at Zelena before turning to the Charmings. ''And now the real fun can begin.''

''Can it now?'' Lillian appeared with her signature smirk on her face, going to stand in front of David and Snow as she looked at the Evil queen with a challenging look.  She could take anyone in a fight, especially the Evil Queen. 

''Try all you want, but nothing you do will ever tear this family apart.''

''Oh, is that so? Because exposing Emma's secret was just the beginning.'' 

Lillian tilted her head, smirking as she crossed her arms over her chest. ''Bring it, Queenie.'' She than lifted her hands up to half way, sending herself, David and Snow away, leaving Zelena and the Evil queen in silent shock.

After leaving David and snow's apartment, Lillian walked back to the gold shop. Standing outside of it as she bit her lip. She stared inside as she sighed, she did want to walk in, but she was still angry at him. But he made sure that she was still alive. 

She shook her head at herself as she looked through the window, pressing her face to the window as she scanned the room, not seeing Rumple in there and deciding against herself. It wasn't worth it. 

She continued to walk towards the hospital, Belle was going to get her first ultra-sound and herself and Baelfire had decided to go with her, she didn't want their dad there, but they both thought that no-one should go and do that by themselves.  

She walked into the waiting room and smiled at Belle as she took a seat next to her, Neal sitting on the other side of Lillian. Lily and Belle were way closer than Neal was with her. 

''You don't have to worry, no-one blames you for not having Rumple here, alright. And  Neal and I don't blame you either, we know how he can be.'' She looked at the door and smirked. ''And it isn't that scary, when I got my first ultra-sound, Henry was there, he nearly passed out while I was just relaxing in there.'' 

Neal and Belle both chuckled at her as they suddenly saw David and Snow walk in, Lillian stood up and frowned at them. ''I came as soon as I could.'' 

''I was on patrol out by the mines. It's just been one crisis after another ever since that dirigible hit. I found him in the woods.''

''Who is he?'' 

''He looks like another refugee from the Land of Untold Stories. He had serious injuries, heavy bleeding another few hours, he would've been gone. He must have been out there for days.''

''Did anyone recognize him?''

''No, we're asking around, but I don't think he was ever at Granny's.'' He looked at Lillian as she raised her shoulders, she never even saw the man's face, how was she supposed to know who he was? ''You know what? I'm gonna head back to the station, see if anyone reported him missing.''

''Yeah, uh I'll stay here. I'll let you know how it goes.'' Snow kissed his lips as she now saw Belle sitting there, her eyes widened and she walked over to the other woman. Fuzzing over her getting her first ultra sound, Neal and Lily looking at each other when they talked about their father, they knew he hurt people, but he was still their father and nothing would ever change that. 

After leaving the hospital with Baelfire, Lily stopped her walking pace. Her eyes rapidly turning red as she grabbed her heart. Something was wrong with Killian. He looked at her and with one glance he knew what was going on. He nodded at her as she waved her hand over herself. 

She appeared on a weird looking ship. The curious thing was that she was underwater, and that Killian was nowhere in sight. He must have been in an other room, and so she began to ran through the ship, the metal making clinging noises as her feet stepped on it. 

She arrived at a door, seeing Henry standing there. She frowned at him but he shook his head, indicating that he would tell her later. 

''He's here, in Storybrooke.'' 

''Maybe ... but he's dead!'' She heard a fight going on as she swung her hand over to the door, making it swing open as she did so.

''I'm not going to hurt you brother.''

''But I will!'' The man turned to the teenager, taking in her features and turning to Killian again. 

''Cousin Lilith.'' She glared at him, her hand shooting up as the knife he was holding came into her hand. ''Not going to hurt your family now, are ya?''

''Sorry to let you know ... but you're no family of mine. You are a half brother of my cousin. We share no blood at all as my mother is only his mother's sister and so.'' She looked at the knife in her hands and smirked. ''So I have all the right to kill you if you do my family harm.'' Killian knocked him off of himself, knocking him out as he looked at Henry.

''I told you to leave.''

''And if I did, Lily wouldn't have found you and you'd be dead.''

''Never said I wasn't glad.''  He looked at Henry as Lillian walked to Liam II, checking his pulse. ''What made you come back?''

''You said you couldn't ruin one more family. Neither did I.''

''Are you saying that you think of me as part of --''

''Don't push it.'' Lillian chuckled at his words, standing up as she looked in between Henry and Killian, she didn't know what had happened before, but it seemed like they had worked out whatever was troubling them.

''You know why I need those shears, right?''

''You love her, too.''

''Aye, and if you don't want me to use them, then I won't. But that doesn't mean that something bad has to happen. Those visions won't come true. I can promise you that. We will find another way to save her.''

''Yeah. But where do we start?''

''First, we make sure we won't be tempted to take the easy way out again.'''He closed the heavy chest, the three of them throwing it, with the shears in it, into the bottom of the sea, no one would ever be able to find it in there. 

She sent Killian off into the room, after threatening Liam and almost killing him, she didn't want to go into his hospital room just yet. She waited outside with Henry and Emma. 

''How's Liam? Is he okay?'' Henry bombed him with questions as Killian came out of the room, Killian nodding with a smile on his face.

''Aye, lad. He is now.''

''I feel like I'm still missing a huge part of the story here. Your kid brother has a submarine, and he kidnapped you. What were you guys even doing at the docks in the first place?''

''Do you want to tell her or should I?''

''It's all right. I've got this one, mate.'' Lillian and Henry took that as their que to leave. They said their goodbye's as Lillian pushed her arm over Henry's arm, the two of them leaving the hospital, Henry's head on her shoulder.
