"That's odd..."

I just finished arranging the meals that Todoroki and I will eat on the dining table for tonight's dinner like an hour ago.

I got excited on preparing since he told me just this morning that there's a possibility that he might be coming home early since he doesn't have any major missions to take on.

Strange, what happened to him?

I watched as the wall clock in our dining room tick by and here I am just browsing through my phone watching random parenting videos.

'I wonder why he's not home yet. Its almost 8PM', I thought to myself as I hit the pause button from the video I am currently watching and sighed, 'Oh no, don't tell me he's fighting some strong villains like last time-'

*knock knock*

I raised a brow before getting up from my seat so I can answer the front door.

Who could it be at this hour? Platformer?

If he's going to prank me with a pie on my face, he has another thing coming because I happened to have some left over pie from yesterday.

Or maybe...OH! What if it's my husband?

I got up from the dining chair and walked towards the front door so I can see if that's really Todoroki or not.

Since we don't have a peep hole on our door, we have this intercom beside our front door which is a modern day peep hole for us - but with an unseen camera above our front door's little roof.

'Wait, what?'

From the intercom screen, I saw Hawks, one of the pro heroes that I've actually befriended when I entered the pro hero life a few years ago and he's also an Endeavor fan, and it looks like he's holding on to Todoroki like he has trouble walking or something. (A/N: Eyy, looks like Hawks finally got his appearance in one of my books now, hehe :D)

Uh oh.

I immediately opened the front door and Hawks greeted me with a friendly and laidback smile while Todoroki, on the other hand, is holding on to the bird man with a red face.

"Oh, good evening, Hawks", I said - wearing a shocked expression from his sudden visit.

"Evening, (Y/N) or should I say, Mrs. Todoroki, haha~", Hawks greeted me and smiled before looking back to Todoroki, "I came here to bring Shoto home and-".

"Nooooo! I-I wanted tooo go home *hiccup* by myselfff, Hawkssss"

My eyes widened from the way Todoroki responded to Hawks and he's even having hiccups in between his sentence.

"...did he...", I started to ask but my words stopped when I saw Hawks nodding in response to my question.

"Yes, he got drunk from a drinking competition in Endeavor's agency", Hawks replied and sighed, "He actually declined so many times when this guy challenged him to a drink off but he ended up accepting anyway when that guy told him the condition if he will still decline the invitation".

Wow.

I never Todoroki would do this since knowing him and all, he doesn't like to drink alcohol at all and seeing him acting this way, for real this time, is so rare.
