Surprise from mini me- emerson barrett

Emerson's POV

It was the middle of the tour and I missed y/n and my daughter. I wanted them both back in my arms again but I still had a while to wait.

They both were going to come but Emery (our 4 year old daughter) had pre-school and couldn't take time off, "this next song you may all know" rem said into the mic, it was almost the end of the set we just had ma cherié to sing and we were done. I grabbed my tambourine and sat at the edge of the stage with rem.

About had way through the song rem stopped catching me by surprise, was someone hurt? Did we have to kick someone out again? "There's a very special guest here tonight, two actually, that I want to come out on stage with us." I assumed it was Kaylen and Larissa.

To my great surprise it was my girls, I gasped and dropped the tambourine running to them. Y/n was holding Emery on her hip. I took her resting her on mine and hugging y/n tightly. I could hear the crowd 'awh' I smiled and kissed them both as the song continued to play.

I sat at the edge again with Emery on my lap, she was 'helping' me play the tambourine but often slipped a beat, it made it more meaningful though.'it was often i had times like this so I took it.

We walked from the stage hand in hand while I spoke with Emery, she was telling me all about school and her friends.

"How long are you here for?" I asked hoping it was more than just the night. "That's the thing em.. we're staying." My eyes widen.

"Really?!" She nodded and pecked my lips.

"Dada!" I giggled and tickled Emery, she laughed loudly pushing my hands off. "Stop it daddy!" I kissed her cheek and we walked back to the bus, "remmy!" He gasped playfully and picked up Emery. They were like partners on crime, inseparable.
