Ryan's POV

I can't believe I allowed myself to be vulnerable infront of them, they'll tell everyone to get back at me. They now have something to hold against me, blackmail me with.

I lay awake with y/n on my chest, their leg over mine while my hand brushes against their thigh. Why was I such an ass to them?

They didn't deserve the shit I put them through.

It was just a way I could vent myself though, my father was due home soon and I know he'll be mad at me for being here with someone. I didn't have the heart to kick them out though.

I heard the door close, I was quick to slip out from under y/n and cover their body with the duvet. I ran downstairs just incase he came up here, I wouldn't let him hurt them.

"What are you doing here?" He spits harshly, throwing his work bag to the floor. "I live here remember?"

He knocks a glass on the counter to the floor, the sound of it shattering caught me off guard and I jumped. "Pick it up."

I kneels down on all fours and begin to pick up the broken pieces, I felt a kick to my ribs making me me groan and roll over into the glass. It ripped through my shirt, my back arched from the floor trying to escape it.

"You're a sick fuck." I spoke through gritted teeth trying to stand to my feet, I would fight back but I would never win. I'm weak.

"Watch your mouth! No wonder your mother left! You're a disappointment!" He scream getting louder with every word, he punched me in the mouth.

A loud ringing noise rang through the kitchen, I looked up seeing y/n stood with a frying pan in their hand. My dad now out cold on the floor.

I stood to my feet and hugged them tightly, "are you alright?" I asked urgently checking over their delicate body for any injuries. "I'm fine, you on the other hand, are not. Let's get you cleaned up." They took my hand leading me into the bathroom.

They closed the toilet telling me to sit down, I obeyed silently and took a seat. They searched for a first aid kit and began to patch me up.

I hissed when I felt a stinging on my back, "I'm sorry I should have warned you." They spoke softly.

"We should get out of here," they speak, I knew they were right but I was leaving for tour soon. The only chance I can catch a break and be myself.

"I've tried but he always finds me. I can't leave this house, my mother used to live here and her stuff is still here.."

"It's still here? Do you mind me asking what happened to her?" They cleaned my cheek which I could feel was quickly turning into a bruise. I would cover it with makeup on tour so it didn't bother me much.

"She passed away in a car accident. I was in the accident with her. We were hit by a drunk driver and my dad blames me for taking her away from him." I explain, my heart feeling heavy at the thought.

"It's not your fault at all. You don't deserve this, do you have anywhere you can go? Anywhere you can stay?"

"I go on tour in a few days, I'll be safe there." They nod telling me they were done. "Y/n?" They hum in response and I pull them into my lap when they look at me. "I'm so sorry for behind a dick to you.." they smile softly shaking their head. "It's okay.."

"No it's not-" they cut me off. "Just kiss me Ryan." I didn't hesitate to slam my lip onto theirs. I have to admit I've wanted to do this for a long time now, I was kissing my crush.

We finally pulled away heavy breathing, "pack your stuff you're coming to stay with me." I nod as we run up to my room and begin packing up my stuff, I walk across the hall and pack up a few of my mother's things. I grab her necklace that I kept close to my heart and take it back to y/n.

"Here, turn around." They run around and I put the necklace on them, "whose is this?"

"My mothers, I want you to wear it. I think she would want you to."

"It's beautiful ry.." They peck my lips as we walk over to their house, I practically move into their room. "Are you sure you want me here?"

"Of course I do, you're safe here. I promise." I couldn't help but smile and fall more in love with them.
